Christmas Album recommendations

I’m sure we’ve all got a Michael Ball or Buble Christmas album, but what other Christmas albums are good to listen to?

My contribution is Jamie Callum’s ‘ Piano Man at Christmas’. Some gorgeous original songs, and it’s become my default ‘wrapping Christmas present up’ music. (And you don’t have to be a jazz lover to enjoy it).

We love the Ally McBeal Christmas Album - Vonda Shepherd has an amzing voice and there are some lovely songs on it.

This Phil Spector one

I did mean to say "has one" rather than "husband" but glad it was intelligible

Absolutely my favourite, well worth a listen and still relevant today. You have to ignore Phil Spector’s closing of the album, but the artist’s performances are spectacular and so is the production, just imagine Phil had nothing to do with it.

I asked for the vinyl a couple of years back expecting to get the 60s issue with the original cover, but my partner unknowingly got me the 1970s reissue, complete with weirdo Phil Spector dressed as Santa (shudder!)

Yes to Kate Rusby, Tracey Thorn, Emmy the Great & Tim Wheeler, and Libera.

Also, Glasvegas.
