Is semi-skimmed milk a left wing option?

Nigel Farage has posted a video ranting about the milk options at a “smart” London hotel - semi-skimmed, oat milk, and almond milk, appear to be denounced as “left wing options”.

He may have a point about the lack of whole milk, but are other milks left-wing? What kind of milk would be a far-right milk? Or Communist milk?

This is the debate that will define the next decade.

I used to drink whole milk and now I drink semi skimmed. Does that make me more left with than I was as a student? Going against the grain.

I even occasionally make cashew milk to have with my porridge because the other milk is run out and it's really easy to make! That must make me bit green. So actually he might have a point as I occasionally vote for them!

Around 60% of milk sold in the UK is semi skimmed. The left can only dream of having 60% of the vote, so by definition (based on actual data and the fact that it came from the mouth of Nigel Farrage) he’s wrong. Which will be a surprise to no one 🤣

Though, I was surprised that over 25% of milk sold is full fat.

This has been extraordinary helpful. My only bit that I would disagree with is that pasta is woke. I don't think spaghetti bolognese's woke but quite possibly everything else is.

He's trying to link left leaning politics with things that (stupid) people are annoyed by like being health conscious, vegan and/or lactose intolerant. He's playing to a demographic that thinks down to earth, sensible folk with traditional values wouldn't have any use for 'fancy' milk, yet...see!..its been removed from the menu to pander to snowflakes. What's the world coming to etc.

There were 3 jugs of milk with labels beside them. All a fuss about nothing of course.

Because more people will be happy or ok with semi than with either whole or skimmed and 3 dairy plus some veggie 'mills' would be a bit ott.
