Husband picks his nose and eats it

My husband works away and a few months ago on FaceTime, he was ‘discreetly’ picking his nose and it looked like he was eating it. I called him out and he kinda just laughed. Honestly, I was horrified. Then on other calls, he tried to hide his lower face but he didn’t put the camera low enough down and he whipped the bogey from nose to mouth so I know he is doing it. I feel like, why would you choose to do that right now? On our call? He’s done it a few times now and I just call him out every time. He doesn’t really say much when I call him out- just gets a bit embarrassed. We’ve been together over 20 years but I see him differently now. Maybe it’s small to some people but this has completely disgusted me. The thought of kissing him repulses me. I wouldn’t say I’m head over heels in love with him or anything but I quite like his company for the most part and we have a pretty good sex life but this has changed things. I’m so grossed out. Am I being unreasonable? Is it over?

I know someone who will pick a spot and then lick off of their finger what came out. But apparently there are limits, it has to be still ‘fresh’, not hard. I feel like puking just recounting this. Sorry everyone…

This thread just reminded me of my dad, last time he came here he sat in the chair picking skin/scabs/something off his head around his hairline and EATING it, I nearly puked just watching😡

Nope, we all pick our nose but eating it is a whole other level. I’d really struggle to get past that. How the hell do you kiss someone that eats their own boogers. Apart from the fact that it’s utterly gross, it also makes me think of 7 year olds.

My 3 year old wouldn't even eat it. 🤮

This is truly disgusting. I’ll admit, I’ve picked my nose (although not very often as I’m already a compulsive hand washer). If I’ve ever cut my finger and caused a bleed, I’ve stuck my finger into my mouth and I sometimes bite the skin around my nails, but I spit it out at a fairly high velocity.

But eating scabs? Eating boogies? Eating ear wax? Eye crusts? BLISTER JUICE???? I am praying people are just trolling, this can’t be real.

I just thank the Lord that my husband does none of those things. Nope, I simply don’t believe it.
