To judge mum who smells of alcohol at 10am

Is this a safeguarding concern? I get bad vibes from this woman anyway, but to reek of alcohol in the morning, surely its awful for a child?

Mention it to the School & ask that they keep an eye on things. If you notice she's driving then it's def a safeguarding issue & you ned to report to the Police & Children's Social Care asking they do a welfare check on the child/ren

No, absolutely not fat. She's quite slim but looks bloated around her face. I have lived with alcohol dependants and she has that look. Her child seems disregulated, I've noticed very clingy to the teachers, hugging at home time etc..

they shouldn't be drinking in the morning, though. This isn't a complaint about a mum who's had a few drinks on a Friday night, it's 10am in the school playground.

Mention your concern to the school and, if she drives.to the police. Avoid this person if you can.

Maybe she works nights and has a drink when she comes home from work to unwind before going to bed like a lot of people who works days do. My friends dad did permanent nights and had his Sunday dinner Monday morning with a few cans of beer with it when he finished work before going to bed

If she did she wouldn't be smelling of fresh alcohol at 10 am though would she?
I regularly worked nights when I was a nurse and sometimes had a drink before bed ,I didn't then go and drop my kids off at school half cut ,I toddled off to bed.
