Looking at the pictures posted upthread I think the girlfriend (possibly ex by now) would’ve been perfectly entitled to retort: I don’t want to go on holiday with you, with your big gurning, grinning face - you (allegedly) pervy fucker.

She was an alcoholic and died from the complications of alcohol addiction. I don't watch (and subsequently worship these people on TV) and never see the appeal of men like GW, but it doesn't mean every aspect of his life needs raking over, as though people know what went on. I think going forward, presenters need changing, obviously any complaints acted upon, but the issue is that people become untouchable.

Given how many people work at the BBC, how many awful men there are in every walk of life, the temptations and power trips available to showbiz people on top of that, and how much publicity (clicks go brrrrrrrr) each high-profile case generates, I'm not remotely surprised that we get stories like this. Meanwhile GB News goes through presenters like I go through a bag of crisps.

Also a lot of people work for many showbiz employers, but the BBC always gets the blame (e.g., for Russell Brand) even if they only passed through. Maybe the BBC could have detected Phillip Schofield earlier if only they'd given Gordon the Gopher a really thorough exit interview.

And most programmes aren't made by the BBC or C4 etc, they're made by production companies, so the channels aren't always hugely involved in the making of them.

First wife left him after six months.

Either way, I think its fair to say, its hard to think of a more misognistic man on the telebox. Its more surprising he last this long!

She 100% knew what was happening and spoke up to protect her career and put distance between them and Greg. I don't believe in coincidence.

He was effectively given a formal warning in 2018 as it was.
