TW death etc I think it’s a conspiracy theory but I’m afraid to google!

someone was telling me about embalmers having to pull ‘stuff’ out of the veins since Covid/vaxines.

My natural instinct is to declare it total guff. Generally I’d use snopes or similar. But I don’t want to read conspiracy nonsense!

Are we experiencing unusual deaths since Covid/vaccines? I have a relative with an unexpected, unusual heart condition.
Could anyone oblige with actual information rather than conspiracy theories? To be honest I think I am being v v unreasonable to ask but I’m mulling on it.

what an odd set of people you know then.
Myself and many people I know refused the injections and have the opinion that they have done more harm than good for the majority of people but our opinion hasn't changed over the last however many years

‘’An odd set of people?’’ It’s very common that CT’s will change their opinion quite easily. One of the hallmarks of them, as I said previously, is that they are not falsifiable because whatever you say to counteract an opinion will simply be met with another equally batshit idea to account for anything you’ve just told them, eg. If you say, ‘’it makes no sense the vaccine contains a tracker because the needles aren’t big enough, for one thing’’, they will simply respond with something like, ‘’well, they’re purposely injecting toxic substances, then! Somethings going on!’’ It’s not a strange set of people at all. It’s standard with most of them.

I'm sure there are but I can bet you have never encountered one ( unless you work in an acute psychiatric ward) so looks very silly to pretend that's a wide held belief you have come across

Given I didn't claim either that I have met such people or that it's a widely held belief I'm not quite sure how you arrived at that conclusion.

I find it easier to believe that people have encountered someone like this than to believe people have met a medical professional who was willing to state someone died from a car accident caused by a Vaccine.

I am thoroughly immunised and happy to present my arm for anything offered. I’m sheeple, me.

I was just having a bad moment in a bad day. 😅 Normal rational service will resume- though I’m still worried about a mis behaving elder and a young relative that collapsed needing CPR at work and a trip in a neenaw .

It’s been a fucking awful day and I’m now in a hot bath on the right side of a large gin.

The problem is, the world is so f*ing crazy right now and feels like it has been for a while. It does distort my sense of what's likely, and what is real sometimes and I have to go away and have a quiet Think to get back on track. So I think your reaction was understandable.

So, what you’re essentially saying is, you choose to believe some random person on the Internet who tells you they look at heart health for a living, even though you have no evidence whatsoever who that person is and their credentials, but you won’t believe actual credible, peer reviewed scientific studies that don’t say what you want? I think you have a monumental lack of self awareness to call anybody else wilfully ignorant, frankly. It’s absolutely laughable. You’re just making yourself look silly and proving people’s points here.

No what I'm essentially saying is I believe someone who says they do it for a job - because why would they lie? - Plus, I don't know you either, yet you're expecting me to believe what you say? How does that work?

So I believe her AND I believe actual credible, peer reviewed scientific studies on a variety of things. As we all should. I don't want them to 'say' anything. But I'm not going to just ignore data that's alarming, just because people like YOU find it a bit uncomfortable.

What I certainly don't do is blindly accept 'data' from organisations like the BHF who are paid by the UK government! Anyone that does isn't worth the time of day.

Jumpingthruhoops · 09/11/2024 21:01

Hoppinggreen · 09/11/2024 13:03

Demonstrates my point very well.
One person references the BHF to back up the idea that the Vaccine causes heart disease and another says the BHF website is downplaying the risks as they are funded by the Govt - which is it?

You know both things can be true at the same time, right?

Yes, it is on the BHF website because it's true. So we KNOW it's true.

However, by saying 'low risk' they are also being economical with said truth in order to safeguard financial interests.

It's really not difficult to understand.

People lie all the time on the internet, surely you know this? People enjoy the attention, they can pretend to be anyone they want online to discredit authority. Data is alarming when you don’t understand the context of what you are reading - as has been explained much more articulately than I can be bothered to. What you’re doing is believing what you want to believe, regardless of any proof, just because you want it to be true, and interpreting data the way you want to, whether that be accurate or not.

Another question your ever so intelligent mind neglects to consider is, if the vaccine was all simply a nefarious plot to fool the masses, why do they publish ‘’alarming data’’ that any lay person with no medical background could interpret and discover their secrets? Surely they wouldn’t so blatently reveal themselves? You lot are walking contradictions 😂

Thats all part of their sinister plot. Have you not heard of deliberately putting out real information so that people read the real information but don't realise its real? So they end up thinking that it is safe because you planted a seed that sometimes it isn't safe so they don't believe the truth that it is never safe. I have a wall of my room where I have noted all the connections using string and recycled fishing line which explains it better.

You have demonstrated PERFECTLY my point I made to @Notmoog earlier, whatever you say to counter an argument will be met with a reason that still fits with beliefs. Not sure if this post is sarcasm or not but either way, this is the sort of thing I mean 😂

Exactly this! That opinion has never changed - if anything it's only been substantiated with the passing of time and emergence of new data.

And as for the suggestion that 'they want to be right', that couldn't be further from the truth. Those of us who questioned things very much wanted - and still want - to be WRONG. Why would we gloat about the fact that people HAVE been harmed? What an odd thought process?

As it is, I have never forced my beliefs/opinion on anyone; I respect that people need to do what right for them.
However, had I spoken up a bit more, I perhaps now wouldn't have two young relatives with heart conditions.

People have been harmed by every vaccine or medicine ever invented. Humans are actually quite poor at assessing risk. As for not pushing your beliefs on others, you’re always on these threads arguing about your beliefs. PhD in bullshit 🤣

Conspiracy theorists gloat because they want to be right, they want to feel special and super intelligent, like they have superior intellect. It heightens their self esteem, since most of them are from disadvantaged backgrounds, have low educational levels, or are narcissistic, and they feel threatened by those who are more knowledgeable than they are, it makes them feel shit about themselves. You can think otherwise if you like, but it’s been studied quite a lot recently.

Firstly, why do you have to be so salty? Are you not able to have an adult conversation without all the childish digs?

It's really quite simple; they publish the data because they have to but, for example, many govt updates were always very hard to find on the official UK govt website unless you knew where to look. Fortunately, I knew a lot of people who did.

Similarly, Pfizer wanted 75 years to release their data but were court ordered to release it steadily in batches. Again, this wasn't published anywhere where it could be accessed easily. It made for very interesting reading: Not least the part about it NOT being recommended for pregnant women AFTER it was mandated and was still being mandated. This is just one tiny example.

So no contradictions at all. All fairly straightforward. Hope that helps.

I can’t help it when someone talks absolute nonsense based on absolutely sod all but cherry picked data and selective information, then has the audacity to say other people are woefully ignorant. I think I’ll finish it there and bid you goodnight 😊

Data is alarming when you don't understand the context of what you're reading.

Seriously, your ego is enormous! I write for a living so 'understanding the context of what I'm reading' is literally what I am paid to do for a job every day.

As such, if I read something, and it gives me cause for concern, that concern is probably justified. Ya know, since I know how to read and pick apart reports and data. 🙄

I've got to say, for someone who claims to be of such superior intelligence - to anyone who has a slightly different opinion to you - you are incredibly defensive. Which suggests to me you're not actually all that confident in your argument; if you were, you'd be able to communicate it calmly and effectively without all the snide comments. As they say, 'confidence is quiet, insecurity is loud'.

I’m very confident in my argument. Not defensive. Just because you write for a living, It doesn’t mean you understand how to interpret scientific research - I don’t myself know all the ins and outs of it, but also I’m not arrogant enough to think I know better than those who have studied and worked in the field for years - you do you 😉 confidence is quiet? Well you’re not quiet are you? You’re always on these threads with your anti vax bullshit, and conspiracy theorists, ironically, are never quiet, they are always banging on about their beliefs to any poor sod in earshot, as if they are trying desperately to convince them. It’s as if it makes them feel validated to get others on board.

And for what it’s worth, I don’t claim to be of superior intelligence, that’s you making those claims by calling others ignorant. I said I know about conspiracy theories. I also have quite a lot of common sense and I’m not easily persuaded to believe things. I’m not a scientist, I don’t pretend to know everything about science, but I know enough, and I know the limits of my knowledge. I would never give out misinformation or opinions on topics I don’t have a fucking clue about and pass them off as fact.

You LITERALLY suggested the PP who 'works in the field' was a liar!? I'd say that's pretty arrogant.
