Reading it now its horrific. People saying we heard screams- and yet did nothing??? How does a person just think that no im not going to report this, most likely because they cant be bothered/ dont want to be involved. Scum of the earth the dad is. The stepmother ( and her sister!) going on and on about how they feel bad etc and dont do anything!

6 children, and 3 adults?

Dad, mum and uncle
Sara and her older brother (from first wife)
4 younger kids

Diorchristian · 02/11/2024 15:55

It beggars belief where did they all sleep?

Diorchristian · 02/11/2024 15:57

I am sure that Arthur had the opportunity to go to school and they made up an excuse.

3 bedrooms so I assume some of the kids or the uncle downstairs? Certainly very crowded

Arthur was at school initially but then lockdown hit. Poor boy and poor Sara 😢💔

Maybe the brother also worked and paid rent?

He studied at Uni is my understanding

Diorchristian · 02/11/2024 16:33

@HaveYouSeenRain

Arthur was due back at school on 8th June and they made excuses as to why he couldn't go.

Diorchristian · 02/11/2024 16:36

In such a small house, with all the chatter and talk of small children he missed prolonged abuse?
Anyway I'm sure I read his dna was on a weapon, could be wrong but if I was his solicitor it's what I would be telling him as well.

Say you didn't know.

The floorplan of similar house in the same road.
Bedroom 1 - 4m x 3.6m
Bedroom 2 - 3m x 3m
Bedroom 3 - 3.1m x 2.1m
One living room downstairs.

Our house is bigger, with 4 beds and only 3 kids and we feel squeezed. Plus not much bulky toddler toys.

It's a shame that Pakistan won't send the siblings back to the UK.

I think this is one of the cases where being placed with family isn't always the best idea.

VentingPillowStuffing · 02/11/2024 16:51

As a child I grew up surrounded by domestic violence. My mother and her boyfriend would have incredibly violent fights, there were suicide attempts, I'd come out of my room to find blood spattered in the bathroom sink. I'd be on my way home from school and I could hear them going at it several houses away. There's no way the neighbours didn't hear, we had family friends talk to my brother and I about it, plenty of adults knew what was going on and yet my brother and I were the only ones to ever call the police when necessary. I even tried talking to teachers and my school counsellor about it and nothing was done, ever.

I was not subjected to what this poor baby went through, but my point is many adults outside of the home knew what my home life was like and no one ever helped me, no one asked if I was ok. It went on for 10+ years, I'm in my 30s now and still bitter about how many adults failed me when all they had to do was ask me if I was ok.

I was surprised about this as well. Surely the children should be in the U.K, this is their home. The brother as well - I may be wrong but I thought Sara’s Mum was in the UK? I wonder why he hasn’t been placed with her?

Lavenderfields21 · 02/11/2024 16:58

The only logical reason for the stepmum not providing dental impressions is that she knows the bite marks are hers.
The father is protecting her because I assume he wants his other kids to have their mum look after them.

From December, don’t know what happened since.

Reporting restrictions continue to apply to almost every detail of what has taken place in the family court proceedings in the high court in London involving the surviving children. But following a joint application by the Observer, the BBC and the Press Association, it can now be reported that Surrey county council has applied to a high court in Lahore, Pakistan to seek the return of the five siblings.
The court case in Lahore continues in parallel with the ongoing wardship proceedings in this country.

I hope that all children will be returned to the UK and placed with foster parents/adoptive parents.

The stepmum is unlikely to have as lengthy of a prison sentence as the father.

She should have no chance of "mothering" these children again.

The girl had bitemarks that don’t match the father or uncle so I assume the stepmother was also violent. Wasnt she the one that ordered the tape from amazon?

Is she the one that has refused dental impressions?

I hope to high heaven that they didn't make a sibling bite her.

fedup33 · 02/11/2024 17:41

That little girl's face. The sadness, the desperation. How she was failed.

Looking at some of older people articles on this it looks like Grandad in Pakistan has money.
He wants custody of the children, he said 2 girls have sen and the oldest boy is a talented cricketer he wants to put into a good private school.
I wonder if this is where the money has come from??

Apparently 10 houses were raided there in connection to the disappearance.

Diorchristian · 02/11/2024 18:07

I also wonder if they were removed to do abuse there.
A polish uncle posted a pic and on that pic when she's much younger you can see bruises.

I have checked and the house hasn't sold since records before records started to be shown online. So they rented.

10 houses doesn’t mean the family owns them, could be extended family houses. They were hiding somewhere, and probably with family members.

sounds like the children were removed and are in a Pakistani children’s home. Poor children, I am sure they are all traumatised for life.
