I lost my virginity aged 23 to a paratrooper in the French Foreign Légion.

I met a man, who wasn't there.....

I just blew the suspense.

We’d just moved into a new house so didn’t know it was a popular Halloween road, I was pregnant, unpacking and Halloween was the last thing on my mind.
Anyway the doorbell rang so we stayed in back rooms and pretended we were out.
All seemed fine, then heard a little ping of letter box. Waited another minute in back room to make sure they were gone.
Opened door into hallway and it absolutely reeked of sulphur. Cfs had posted a stink bomb. Nearly threw up as pregnant and just felt throughly fucked off at the time.
The smell went quite quickly thank god - amusing enough now I look back years later. To this day I always check I have loads of sweets now on 31st.

Yeah! I live in the French Foreign Légion 2ème Rép town. Everybody here knows it. Still live here after all these years. Even my mumsnet name is outing because it's the name of my (now dead) dog.

And she was a local celebrity chihuahua dog. I've lived a varied life.
