To think it's cruel to enter your child for nine 11+ exams?

Seen the news article about the child from Isle of Wight who passed nine 11+ exams in various counties all over the country. I think it's unkind to put a child through that. Yes, he's a bright boy, but what are the parents thinking? And no, I dont know them personally. (Runs for cover)

Had a couple of kids who moved into the area to attend DDs grammar school in Essex. Some had taken the exam from neighbouring counties. No idea whether they took exams local to where there lived ( if Suffolk and Herts even have grammar school

Some children really do love it, at that age my younger brother did phenomenally well on his 11+ exam with the highest results ever seen in his primary school and soared into grammar school. He also finished the exam way too early and read a book 😂 if he could’ve done the same exam multiple times he definitely would have, at the time he described it as “easy and fun”, and even now he does Mensa/IQ tests etc in his free time. We are clearly not from the same gene pool!
