Did you see the story in the news that a man in Australia has said that he is Prince Charles 's and Camilla's lovechild. Apparently security are watching him as he said that he is going to try to go and see them

This is lighthearted, so don't come at me. It's just in the news today, and was wondering what are your thoughts?

That still doesn't answer the question but I can see that it's a stretch for you on all sorts of levels so I will leave you to enjoy your thread X

Sigh.

If you want a specific individual that said that camilla is not nice, I'll give you one.

The late Queen is reported to have said "that wicked woman" about Camilla Parker Bowles

I wonder what would happen if there was a child born to C&C - would they be legitimised by the fact that their parents are now married and would they have a claim to the throne?
It's interesting. Personally, I think a DNA test would stop this story from popping up, but I guess loads of mentally unwell people could claim to be their child and they can't do tests all the time.

It would make no difference to the line of succession. To be included to inherit the titles and positions you have to be born to married parents (and in the case of Charles' children born into a marriage approved by his mother as monarch).

On Princess Mary's line (QEII's aunt) two of her grandson's four children are not entitled to be titled or positioned because they were born before their parents married. The Earl of Harewood's second son will inherit the title.

Draxing · 19/10/2024 00:59

He looks like Jerome Robson (I think that's the right name) in the article linked above.

I sis see a resemblance to Tom Parker bowls. Poor man, it's sad they can't do a dna test.

Imagine if it were true and he's the rightful heir??

But Tom looks like his dad....

"this is lighthearted so don't come at me".
If you start a thread, people will respond.
I've heard about this person before, it's not news.
There's no proof and he's obviously got problems.

I’ve just googled him. There are similarities and as a youngster he does kind of look a bit Camillarish and not completely unlike Tom Parker Bowles. I haven’t read the background story so can’t comment on the likelihood but just going by looks it’s not beyond the realms of possibility.

Even if it was true he’d never be made heir. I’ve just read a bit more and it seems he’s only going by his grandmother’s death bed ‘confession’. Although why she would know (if he’s been adopted so his gm is not blood related) I’m not sure.

Edited

.Tom Parker Bowles is not relevant to this claim.

MayaKovskaya · 19/10/2024 01:16

@ARichtGoodDram is right. Even if this story is true - and I doubt it very much - he has no claims on succession. He was not born to married parents, never mind a marriage approved by the monarch.

‘Is reported’ (by whom)?
third hand is always dodgy.

This is lighthearted, so don't come at me.

I hate it when people think they can police reactions to their posts.

This idiot crawls out of the woodwork every few years, and always ends up going back in again. Unfortunately there are enough tinfoil hatters out there to ensure the story makes the papers every time - and they seem to honestly believe that the fact that Charles and Camilla have never agreed to DNA tests is somehow an admission of guilt (rather than fairly standard procedure for a royal family).

He isn’t the son of Charles and Camilla. He’s a bored fantasist. In any case, even in the extremely unlikely scenario that he’s telling the truth, illegitimate children - even legitimised ones - can’t inherit, so the line of succession would be unaffected.

I didn't say don't reply at all did I.

By "don't come at me", I meant don't personally insult and abuse me.

I've seen Royal threads on mumsnet. Some posters get extremely aggressive

Ha, maybe that's why they kept King Charles visit to Australia so quiet. Scared of the love child coming up. Got quite a shock today to see King Charles has arrived in Australia, felt like that is something that would have been more talked about before. I can't find anyone that even knew he was coming!

What? It’s literally all I’ve read about for weeks. It’s been talked about on the news, on the radio etc for weeks too, such as how councils are cleaning up places and the itinerary. Been in the newspapers too. Where have you been hiding?! (Serious question, I want to be there too!!). You must have at least seen their faces on the opera house (pics of it anyway?).

WooleyMunky · 19/10/2024 02:28

There is a rom-com script in this though.
Probably starring Hugh fucking Grant.

I can just imagine him standing in the crowds waving, shouting "mum" "dad" 🖐😂

Yes many years ago. Yet in her later years said she wanted Camilla to be Queen when Charles became King

So clearly like many people she changed her mind about her, but that doesn't suit your narrative

And the people who dislike her, don't suit your narrative. Obviously everyone has different opinions on everyone.

I don't like her and you do. We're all entitled to our opinion on here.

OK if you want a more recent example of Camilla being nasty and manipulative.

Prince Harry said that Camilla leaked private stories about him to he press
