Did you see the story in the news that a man in Australia has said that he is Prince Charles 's and Camilla's lovechild. Apparently security are watching him as he said that he is going to try to go and see them

This is lighthearted, so don't come at me. It's just in the news today, and was wondering what are your thoughts?

You know in the Royal family in Belgium case.

How did she manage to get the king to to a dna sample

Because the King always knew that there had been a child from that affair. He complied and Delphine was included in the family. Completely different circumstances.

They would have had access to the best doctors it wouldn’t have been a back alley. Nevertheless, I don’t believe for a minute that the RF would have handed an heir’s baby over to a pair of commoners working at the palace.

Cynthia lennon (john lennons partner) was also wealthy at that time , and would also have had access to the best doctors.

She still wrote in her book that abortion was very risky in those days.

He didn't "comply"

I'm sure I just read an article where it said that delphine fought the king through the court for a long time.

Looking at his picture he actually looks like an older version of a previous boyfriend of mine, who was definitely not related to the RF.

If it was true, and of course it wasn’t, the royal family would not have been involved at all. Camilla would have had the baby amongst her family as an unmarried mother amongst her own family. The baby would not have been to the palace at all.

What are you on about that the king "complied".

Have you read the case at all. He didn't comply at all.

She had to fight the king through the courts to get recognition. The king fought her paternity claim for a long time

Here is an except from an article written in
2020

"King Albert admitted he was her father in January this year, having fought her paternity claim for more than a decade."

I mean if he is - so what? He’s never going to be in line for the throne - so what does he want out of all of this? Money or something?

MayaKovskaya · 19/10/2024 13:18

What on earth are you on about.

He refused to comply. He refused to acknowledge her. She had to fight a lengthy court battle.

I believe the court eventually demanded that he took a dna test.

The king didn't comply to anything. The court made him do it

Because ‘she’ was sure and certain that she was the mother of the child and that she was in a relationship with the King of Belgium when the child was conceived.

Conversely, Camilla has no such claim!

So he took the test. He had to comply. I don't know what on earth you're on about, because I am using the correct legal terminology. If you've ever had to deal with compliance, you'd know what I mean.
Also what the word means.

So...she doesn't need to comply 😂😂
ie. to act in accordance with a wish or command...

Can you please explain

How

  • The king refusing to acknowledge his child
  • Refusing to acknowledge his paternity of her
  • Refusing to give a DNA sample, until a court decided to give him rolling fines of 5000 euro per day, until he did one.

Means he complied?

He fought it every step of the way.

So then what you're saying isn't relevant to what I said.

You said he complied to give DNA , after a court ordered him to.

I asked originally: how did it get to the stage where the court asked him to give DNA?

What evidence did Delphine have, that the court believed her. To ask the king to give a DNA sample

For example this man, Simon can't just ask Charles to give a DNA sample

Ok. Happy to.
He fought it.
He was compelled to by a court of law which forced him to comply.
Therefore, against his will, he complied with the command (qv).

Because she was the daughter of his long term mistress and this was common knowledge.
Delphine just needed legal proof and had to get a court to get him to comply.

But he didn't comply with Delphine's query for most of her life. He also didn't comply with the court for a long time.

He only eventually complied at the end when they hit him with huge fines.

So we can say that he didn't comply for a long time, and then he complied at a much later stage

Fair play to Deplhine for fighting for recognition for most of her life.

I think if Camilla had been the mother, she would have wanted to re-connect with her child, even if it were all done in secret.
