For me the biggest one is Jacob Rees Mogg. He puts the fear of God in me. He reminds me of some villain in a horror film. If I see him on TV or a picture of him I actually get the chills.

I also find a really unsettling energy about Louis Walsh and David Walliams.

Oh God....

Steven Seagall.... Absolutely freaks me out

BloodyHellBob · 14/10/2024 13:01

Greg Davies gives me the creeps. I'm sure he's a perfectly pleasant man but I can't watch anything he's in. It's really odd but I also can never seem to remember his name, I always have to google him!

Cattery · 14/10/2024 12:49

My son had him in his black cab. He said he’s so nice

Yeah I won't hear a word against him!

AgnesXNitt · 12/10/2024 18:32

Donald Trump.

Completely repellent and I have no idea how anyone has ever or will cast a vote for him. He makes me feel physically ill when I lay eyes on him - like a full nervous system reaction. I also don't agree with Republican policies but this is something different.

It's the way his horrible little mouth moves when he speaks.

I don't care how much money he threw at Melania. It wasn't worth it <shudder>

BashfulClam · 14/10/2024 13:38

I agree with David Williams, Jim Carey and Russell Brand. The odd one i have is Michael Caine, I just can’t watch him and Oliver Reed, both give me massive creeps and a skin crawling feeling.

Helpnifoseeker · 14/10/2024 13:39

@Demonhunter Oh lord , me too! Horrible, horrible people!
That reminds me, I also have a deep, visceral aversion to Shwab's right-hand man, Yuval Noah Harari- the things I have heard and read about what he's said and his beliefs make my blood run cold! Pure evil!
I also nominate Sam Smith and I add Ezra Williams! I remember thinking that he played the part of Kevin in "We Need To Talk About Kevin" a bit TOO well for my comfort and then all the the disturbing allegations came out, accompanied by reports of his innapropriate behaviour! He's gone very quiet, so I'd forgotten about him. I hope never to see nor hear about him again, so sorry for even mentioning him! Shudder!

Kevin Spacey - always found his portrayal of Frank Underwood in House of Cards extremely chilling, quite a lot of allegations and anecdotal stories about his predatory nature, I found this compelling

David Tennant, ditto re portayal of evil men (yes I know it's acting but for me it's something extra - and creepy)
Des - Denis Nielsen, serial killer,
Deadwater Fell
Comments re Kemi B (I'm no fan either) to shut up and not exist

Ezra Miller

Helpnifoseeker · 14/10/2024 14:04

@EconomyClassRockstar I did say it wasn't rational on my part and I may be unreasonable; I don't know him and ye do, so I must be being unreasonable, but I can't help it, it's just a visceral reaction! I don't wish any harm on him at all anyway!

Oh gosh, forgot about him. He's vile.

Reading these lists, I guess the take-away is that film, the music industry and particularly television does breed/encourage a particular kind of ego-driven narcissist. These people are the ones who climb the greasy pole, or elbow themselves forward in what is an incredibly competitive world, so they're mostly going to be horrors.

I think this is the case now - I don't think it was necessarily the case in the early days of TV, when the people on it came from a range of different (and genuine, not Mickey Mouse) careers and had achieved fame without it. Nowadays you get people whose whole career is just TV presenting (like MPs who've never done a proper, real job - just gone from Oxford PPE to being an MP).

Someone I knew who'd worked with lots of TV 'personalities' told me that you'd never guess from their TV image which ones were decent and which were horrible - the nasty ones are often brilliant at creating a warm, friendly persona..

I used to be very fond of Sandi but was disillusioned when I worked with someone who'd been viciouslly bullied by her at school. I then realised that her jolly hockey-sticks, head-girl, friendly blue-stocking image was very much a front.

Oh that’s so sad, I loved Sandi

Getitwright · 14/10/2024 15:21

Katie Price. Donald Trump. Elon Musk. Rebekah Vardy. Suella Bravaman.

Different reasons for them all though.

CurlewKate · 14/10/2024 15:25

@2MargerinesOnTheGo "Goodness @CurlewKate you are still on this thread. You must be a glutton for punishment."

<shrugs> There is a horrid fascination with seeing humanity at its worst.

Chrissie Teigan comes across as incredibly nasty and callous. Her face is very creepy, like an evil waxwork. Her husband John Legend must be a creep also, to want to be with her

I like following her and John but I do get very mean girl vibes. I’m not saying I believe in pizza gate or anything like that, but her old twitter accounts are obviously pretty telling of her nature. (More than I think she’s not very sensitive/particularly nice).

DalRiata · 14/10/2024 11:47

Tom Daley is very creepy IMO.

Oh really? He comes across as such a sweetheart!

DalRiata · 14/10/2024 08:52

Charlie Sheen is a paedophile and sexual predator of young boys, so he is revolting rather than creepy.

Kevin Spacey was always incredibly creepy, way before any allegations against him. The allegations against him are weak so they don't add much.

Bridget Macron is terrifying looking. Everytime I see her PDA with her husband I get this visceral reaction of horror. He looks like her son but I don't have a problem with age gaps so it can't be that. There's something not right there.

James Cordon strikes me as someone who could be nasty.

Tom Hanks, theres something untrustworthy about him.

Jada Pinkett Smith has cold, dead eyes. Her children both seem creepy as well.

Rabbi Schmuley. He reminds me of someone who would take a gun and go on a killing spree.

Matt Lucas is scary, his eyes are so manic and his grin is crazed.

Benedict Cumberbatch is very attractive but also a tad creepy.

That horrendous JoJo something creature who used to wear the big bows. Shes terrifying! Like a cabbage patch doll or ventriloquist dummy come to life. She makes me think of a goosebumps story.

Joe Biden - has anyone seen that montage of loads of clips of him sniffing children?! And his estranged daughter said he used to make her shower with him as a teenager. I wouldn't be suprised if he sexually abused his kids.

Gerry McCann.

Katie Price and Peter Andre. Horrendous. Funnily enough, their children don't creep me out which is surprising seeing as they got the double creep DNA.

Beyonce. No idea why. Her smile perhaps.

Charlie Sheen and Biden wth???

Conniebygaslight · 14/10/2024 15:31
