For me the biggest one is Jacob Rees Mogg. He puts the fear of God in me. He reminds me of some villain in a horror film. If I see him on TV or a picture of him I actually get the chills.

I also find a really unsettling energy about Louis Walsh and David Walliams.

Elon Musk. Serial killer vibes off this weirdo.

beeteefee · 13/10/2024 04:19

Nick Knowles .

biscuitandcake · 13/10/2024 04:21

I realised actually rather than being creeped out by some celebs I am actually creeped out by excessive botox. I don't think they have much choice working in that industry to be fair, but I think my brain sees their upper face movements not matching their lower ones and thinks "fake" when really it's just mild paralysis.

2 people who actually physically repel me though, to the extent that I almost want to crawl out of my skin are Governor Newsom and JD Vance. Obviously their politics is completely different, but they are the same levels of aaaargh. The relief when the dem ticket wound up being Harris and Walz and not including Newsom in any way. Can you imagine otherwise...

beeteefee · 13/10/2024 04:48

someone who worked for him told me he was nasty

myusernamewastakenbyme · 13/10/2024 04:58

Michael Barrymore....I loathed him in the 80's when he was on prime time tv and still cannot stand him.

animaginativeusername · 13/10/2024 05:01

Kier starmer

LindorDoubleChoc · 13/10/2024 05:16

I find all the men with really much younger wives or partners creepy! So - Mick Jagger, Leonardo, Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Richard Gere etc. I'm sorry but you just can't have much in common with someone 30 years younger than you. It's just sleazy and there's an element of a financial transaction to it. Ick.

saltandvinegarchipsticks · 13/10/2024 05:43

I agree with a lot of those already mentioned, but I’m surprised nobody has said Craig Charles yet.

Also James Arthur with his little mouth and long eyelashes.

Auburngal · 13/10/2024 06:19

Trump, Putin, Meghan Duchess of Sussex, Katie Price, The Kardashians

@Londontown12 I had a similar thing with Jimmy Savile like you did with Rolf. I said in my teens, there is a dark side to him. How right I was.

Marchitectmummy · 13/10/2024 06:21

Sadiq Khan

Something so seedy about him, I've met him in person, he made me feel itchy.

I also came on to say David Walliams. I refuse to let DD1 read his books. Tbh there have been plenty of rumours about him over the years so I don't think it's something inexplicable.

What rumors?

David Walliams, Barry Keighan, Russell Brand (way before any stuff came to light), Stephen Fry, Eddie Izzard & Neil Gaiman make my skin crawl.
Kier Starmer is so fake & slimy.
David Tennant has recently been added to my list of celebrities who I find creepy.
There was a female Cbeebies presenter years ago (she might still be on there), called Katy, who gave me the creeps as she was so fake and giving off 'I hate children' vibes. It was if she was always desperately trying to stop her mask from slipping.

If the CBeebies presenter was the one who also had a cookery programme we always loved her and saw her do her programme live and she was charming. I was so surprised to see her mentioned I just googled her. She seems to do a lot of charitable work. Also there was a court case where her ex partner was found to have been controlling and verbally and physically abusing her over a number of years. I don’t know the timeline but wonder if that’s what you picked up on when you say it felt like she was wearing a mask?

Christ, don't let him read any Oscar Wilde or Marquise de Sade, or any other 'off' writers if you are policing books by author rather than content
How very strange

Keith lemon gives me the creeps. Couldn't be in a room with him.

The one I actively loathe, though, is James Corden. I think he's a rude, self-aggrandizing, smug twat.

Altho' he says the nicest things about you...

Probably get the thread pulled to list them here, but you could start with the Controversies section of his Wikipedia page.

So interesting the same names coming up again and again many of whom I feel the same way about.

Not sure if I’ve seen Laurence Fox yet? I always feel for Billie Piper trying to co-parent with him.

TellerTuesday · 13/10/2024 06:54

Rebel Wilson makes me feel physically sick, no idea why and I've never had feelings like it about anyone else but I can't even bear to look at her, it's extremely strange.

General creepy ick vibes I get from David Walliams, Mark Wright, Prince Edward and Paul Hollywood

Thunderpants88 · 13/10/2024 00:12

I think that’s total crap

Same person told me about Rolf Harris years before he was arrested ...

Dmsandfloatydress · 13/10/2024 07:14

The fella he has lived with fir the past 30 years his " friend" the ex priest.

Richard Osman. Love his House of Games quiz show but there's just a weird creepy undercurrent vibe...

Richard O seems lovely!

Laurence Fox is a disease.

AutumnalCosiness · 13/10/2024 07:23

Sam Smith.
I’m not sure what it is, I just can’t warm to him and find him creepy, his whole persona seems fake.

@Bamboozie really your'e not sure why "they/them" seems fake?

AutumnalCosiness · 13/10/2024 07:26

LonelyLongDistanceRunner · 12/10/2024 19:59

Jeremy Corbyn. Just vile.

He's probably the kindest most trustworthy bloke you'll meet.

Shhhthedogssleeping · 13/10/2024 07:28

George Clooney really creeps me out - the whole do-gooder, self-deprecating, chivalrous, Mr. Nice Guy persona feels like it’s hiding something darker and sadistic. I’ve read that he plays really complex ‘pranks’ on his friends and co-stars. They come over as designed to embarrass and gaslight. I always have the feeling he’s covering things up with a nice act. Keanu Reeves in comparison comes across as a genuine ‘mr nice guy’

Avanet · 13/10/2024 07:30

Political

Trump, Biden, both Clintons and Harris
Kier Starmer- I think he fancies himself a Mark Darcy (Bridget Jones one) character when, to me, he looks more like a Mr Punch puppet.
Rachel Reeves
Diane Abbot
Jeremy Corby
Ed Balls and Evette Cooper
Nicola Sturgeon
Putin
Tony Blair
Justin Trudeau
Burlesconi
Micheal Portillo
Rishi Sunak
Dominic Cummings
Micheal Gove
Theresa May
William Hague - creepy little weirdo
Jeremy Hunt - he is evil incarnate
Seriously, got to stop or it's going to run in to the hundreds because that's just recent-ish ones.

Entertainment
Matt Smith - he doesn't look quite human to me
Walliams, Cowell, Holden, Ant but not Dec
Tom Cruise
Jada Pinkett Smith
Bruce Forsythe
And his bastard love child/clone Anton Du Beke
Des O'connor
Les Dennis
Len Goodman
Mark Wahlberg
Cilla Black
Chris Evans
James Corden
Eamonn Holmes
Jeremy Kyle
David Hasselhoff
Sean Combs
Lorraine Kelly
Claudia Winkleman
Matt Lucas
Ronan Keating
Giovanni Ribisi (that might be cos his characters though)

Micheal Jackson always gave me the creeps, as did Saville, Harvey Winster, Roland Harris and Hew Edwards and all senior male UK royals.

I might have to disagree with Chris Pratt, but agree with all the others.

Easy in the eye but far right politics apparently. Just no.
