Which celebrities/public figures give you the creeps?

For me the biggest one is Jacob Rees Mogg. He puts the fear of God in me. He reminds me of some villain in a horror film. If I see him on TV or a picture of him I actually get the chills.

I also find a really unsettling energy about Louis Walsh and David Walliams.

Greg Wallace tried to chat me up at a wedding, when I told him I was married and pointed “There’s my husband over there.” he said “You’re just my type, do you have a sister?” 🤮 Definitely smarmy vibes.

Cillian Murphy. There’s something uncanny valley about his face to me. I just find it hard to look at him on-screen.

Yes these two both creep me out.

I think it's their weird faces which is of course completely unfair. They do use their faces for comedy, and while their humour is not really my thing, part of that can be willing to look weird on film.

And Ben Stiller too, now that I think of it.

One night in the 1970s, I was being babysat aged 6ish at a close friend's family house. I had been put in the bedroom of one of her teenaged sons, whi was away. The whole experience (which I had beenTHRILLED about) was ruined as friend tucked me up, kissed me goodnight and left door open with landing light on. I lay in bed absolutely terrified and stricken by the huge Gary Glitter poster the teenaged son had blue tacked by his bed. I was terrified of it and in the end caused great hilarity to my family friend when I trundled downstairs in tears saying I could not sleep with the scary man poster looking at me. She was soooo kind and clever. She stuck to poster on backwards and it was sorted. Even at 6, I knew he was evil.
