I am getting tired of it, particularly now that my sons have hit puberty, so I have mandated that all human inhabitants must wear a minimum of shorts. We have no daughters so I am the lone voice here. The boys are complaining bitterly. Husband is neutral but says he understands my feelings.

In my house it's two females versus three males. Females are sensible and often frozen. No problems there. The boys act like it's summer all year round. DH and the boys try to live in underpants at home. They own clothes, lots of them, but no. There's lots of fgs go put some trousers on from the females. DH loves the Lego movie because the guy keeps saying where's my pants? That's all I ever hear. In a way I'm glad it's not just my family. Anyway I have bigger problems, the five year old is starting to flash for attention. None of the others did it. He's going to be 18 one day, I dread to think what he will be like. We have to be very firm and say it isn't acceptable. The underpants thing looks tamer in comparison but still not great.

I read threads like this and wonder. I have sons. They always had clothes on. Two layers. Except just the one sock. Both of them 😆.

I take it all the people who wander around in pants don’t get many deliveries, or have to put something on each time they do.

I know this may be shocking but they manage to adhere to normal common decency. Serious others manage to live without these hang ups.

I'm outnumbered 3 to 1 in our house, kids are still very little (Nursery age), but I couldn't care less how much or little anyone wears. As long as the neighbours aren't seeing more than they should I'm not fussed.

Nah I don't think I could be arsed to be bothered. Mines 13 years old and his dad 47. Both in T-shirts and pants often. I just don't care! They're both clean, they both comfy. If I catch a glimpse of anything, well it's a body part not an AK-47.

I don’t really see the problem. My dh does it sometimes, particularly in summer. I’ll do tshirt and pants in summer. So will my teens.

Plenty of people from my culture are quite comfortable in their homes you do you. I know it must be a shock to think others live differently outside the UK.

My sons do this ( well eldest doesn't) dh doesn't dh doesn't like it but I think it's their home too. It doesn't upset me. But it would if dh did it. Ds16 is tshirt and boxers or his pjs. My 12 year old is just his boxers which is worse but he is disabled so has bigger worry than looking presentable at all time.

They will get dressed when asked without a argument.
