What colour are my eyes?

I have been told they're multiple colours from people over the years. I have no idea what they are! My dc told me they're yellow? 🤣

These posts are so fucking stupid, like how could somebody possibly not know their own eye color ... mine are brown and yours are obviously hazel. Also, do you not have an either a passport of a drivers license cause you'd ve had to fill out your eye color for both of those.

Not in the UK you don't these days. (I'm guessing you're American by your spelling.) We use photography.

Plus you don't need a driving licence if you don't drive, nor a passport if you don't travel overseas. There are people who do neither.

In the UK (where OP most likely is due to her spelling of the word colour) eye colour isn't listed on driving licenses or passports.

OP, the limbal ring surrounding your eye enhances the colour as well.

I’ve seen a few people with eyes like that. Definitely not hazel.

Hazel on the inner ring. Middle ring is pale green. Outer ring is grey I'd say.

I think hazel as an eye colour, counter-intuitively, covers a muddy green colour rather than the reddish brown colour of an actual hazelnut.

That means they're Hazel. Hazel eyes have two or three different colours. Usually brown and green, but sometimes blue and other colours as well.

Never heard the term Sunflower eyes before, but it's a lovely way of describing them.

Hazel is a brown green mix (like the colour!). The word hazel isn't synonymous with multicolour.

My eyes are blue with yellow and grey rings. That doesn't make them hazel.

@pinck you've posted long enough on MN to know full well this is a UK based site. Why make such a "fucking stupid" statement as to assume we in the UK manage passports and DLs the same way as the US?

But hazel eyes can include blue and grey as well. Blue isn't actually a colour when it comes to eyes. It's just a lack of pigment.

I agree with hazel. Maybe you are like DD - her eyes seem completely different colours in different light, ranging from dark grey to blue to hazel to green. I told her she has rainbow eyes 😅

Light hazel (blueish with a yellow/green centre). I have dark hazel- they look brown from a distance but have the same sort of patterning and multiple colours as yours up close.
