Mine is without doubt, haagen daaz salted caramel

Although I second Hackney Gelato in Seven Dials Market also mmmm need ice cream now !

Hackney gelato - I'm hoping for gingerbread / mince pie ice cream again at Xmas.

I am not sure they did them last year.

Liquorice all day long

Mint choc chip.

Though I also have a deep love of praline ans hazelnut and coffee and coconut and pistachio.

Maybe a scoop of each of the above in a massive fuckoff sundae, with a flake and a chocolate dipped waffle.

Crosta and Mollica do a morello cherry and mascarpone which is really good and probably my chosen ice cream but I’m not really a big ice cream eater so probably have it at home about twice a year.
The rest of my lot love Ben and Jerrys godawful flavours!!! They’re all way too much for me, sickly and too much mishmashing of different things.

Black Cherry from a local farm shop

Old fashioned home made vanilla or maybe Tesco Madagascan vanilla or Belgian chocolate at a push.

The plainer it is the less there is to disappoint ....

I've been away from Scotland for too long. Tablet ice cream OMG.
My favourite is Mackies vanilla (has to be Mackies) or rum and raisin.

Sea-buckthorn. Best had with a scoop of liquorice as well; the combination is brilliant.

Oooh another one, Salcombe Dairy in Dartmouth’s blackcurrant with a big blob of clotted cream on top. To my mind putting clotted cream into ice cream is a waste, but in Dartmouth you can get it on top of your ice cream! Born in Devon, my arteries would be solid if I still lived there which sadly I don’t 😞

I had tiger tail in Canada. Orange with a liquorice ripple

I used to say Rum and raisin until I really thought about it and I don’t like raisins and would never drink rum 😜
I like mint choc chip and our local place does an amazing lemon curd!

Waitrose used to do a sour cherry and cream flavour which I loved. After that, lemon curd or rhubarb ripple.

@OhNoOhYesOhMy I'm intrigued by the sea buckthorn with a scoop of liquorice and want to know where I would have to go to get hold of some.

That’s hard as salted caramel is nice.

I think I’d have to say coffee.

But I also like pistachio and a flavour called stracciatella that you don’t get much over here (it’s like chocolate chips in a sort of cream flavour ice cream)

I used to love Carluccios coffee ice cream.

Mine too, nothing else comes close to being as delicious
