No women only spaces for 16 months. Basically women, RAPED women - were told they could not definitely see a woman to help them with such an awful crime, they might have to see a man in a dress, and if they objected they were to be 're eductaed' by the man in charge - a man who himself applied for, and got!! a job which was supposed to be only filled by a woman.

It's shameful, disgusting, but whats worse is how many people put up with it!! Who thought this was ok?! why did nobody do anything, or say anything FOR YEARS

Imagine a male CEO having the phone numbers of multiple vulnerable young female service users? Everyone would see what a safeguarding huge red flag that is.

Brilliant, fairly long thread on Twitter, highlighting the reality lie of "women only" rape crisis services in Scotland. All the receipts.

I've posted before but will repeat there are 3 rape crisis centres that are women only (in the biological sense).

And to repeat again the women who run the services persisted with providing this service during all the time that the SNP and others where putting pressure on women's group to become trans inclusive.

And they did it without the backing of a millionaire.

And they probably could have done with more support at the time.

But having repeated this fact which is easy to find on Rape Crisis Scotland's own directory of groups, have no idea how anyone, let alone the CEO of the organisation that promotes that directory could go on to claim all RCCs in Scotland have women only services. Those they dont make it quite clear they are trans inclusive.

I have occasionally been "had" by things purporting to be for women only and turning out to mean they are for women and transwomen because the organisers hold that transwomen are women.

Look at the comments - every single one in support of JKR. Two years ago it would have been a mixed bag with people in the comments not really knowing about what was going on.
