I love Nirvana but I’ve never trusted Dave Grohl and his squeaky clean nice guy attitude - it has never come across right. I’ve seen the Foo Fighters live a few times at festivals and he can be a bit weird and controlling on stage - leave your fans alone? I also laughed when he brought out a random person from the audience and they were amazing at the guitar - it’s so fake and set up it really confirmed to me that he is fake. However, I loved his contributions to Queens Of The Stone Age and Nirvana, it’s just the way he handles himself as a person that has always felt off.

So I’m not surprised by this at all. And it wouldn’t even be that shocking for others if he hadn’t continuously kept up the idea that he is such a wonderful person. He cheated before, why are people surprised that he is still doing it?

Edited to add that I also heard stuff about him pressuring Hawkins when he said he wanted to leave the band and hated trying as it was too much. I am not a Foo’s fan so I didn’t think much of it, but it’s been repeated here.

I think that’s completely untrue what you’ve said about him not wanting any of the other band members to have the spotlight…have you been to a FF gig? Were you at Taylor’s memorial gig?
He’s the frontman of a massively successful band, it’s obvious that he’ll be in the ‘spotlight’ more…just like Kurt was in Nirvana.

If you don’t like the FF/Dave Grohl then that’s fine but don’t revel in someone else’s mistakes and upset.

He's just a guy! I like his music, I think he is not bad looking, he interviews well in general but why do loads of people act like he is saint like.

Girl in every town that one, we had one in ours, she used to feature in a few of his vids and be his hook up when he came through our part of the country. It wasn't particularly a secret either.

I’d be genuinely surprised by one of these men who actually didn’t cheat, I imagine most of them do.

Grohl cheated on his first wife, so why people are shocked he’s also done it to his second is beyond.

I used to work in the alternative music business and have seen behind the scenes. It’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect.

Not sure why anyone is surprised, it is being reported in the press that infidelity was responsible for the breakdown of his first marriage.

Absolutely, a majority of these men are seedy and looking for the next thrill. Dave Grohl just messed up by pretending he was different.

Even tim minchin came out and said he's been tempted to cheat. Groupies and being on the road and being someone who thrives on attention isn't probably a great mix.

I'd love to believe Keanu is the second coming but I am suspicious of anyone with such good social media presence. All I see are lists of amazing things he does and how he doesn't touch people in photos etc. but someone is managing all of that (see also Ryan Reynolds)

He has form. Has never been faithful to any one his partners from the sounds of it. It’s disgusting that he never used protection and has put his wife’s health at risk. I couldn’t forgive any of this.

There’s been ‘rumours’ about Dave Grohl and his cheating for years. This is a child born outside of his marriage that he’s admitted to, but there’s also been rumours that this one isn’t the first. Who knows on that one 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm so disappointed in him - I know he's only human, and people make mistakes, but I liked to think he was above bullshit like this

I will eat my hat if I’m wrong but Keanu just seems to be a normal good bloke who has tried very very hard to stay grounded and to not let Hollywood get to him. Good men do exist among us although at times they seem like golden unicorns. My DH is one of them despite some of his flaws (overloading the washing machine, over feeding the cat) and I can say that with confidence. I think something would have come out about Keanu a long time ago. Dave Grohl has form for cheating. It’s why his first marriage ended.

He's always been a lowlife. Cheated on his first wife. Arrogantly told his second wife when he first met her that she has the potential to be his new ex wife and of course the utter arrogance of saying only the jabbed could attend his concerts!

Agreed. Look at what Josh Homme (Grohl’s bestie) is subjecting his ex-wife Brody Dalle to. She hasn’t seen her children in years because he wasn’t happy that she left him due to his drug and alcohol abuse and because he head butted her. He’s a very rich man who has very rich parents and has managed to convince a judge that she’s the unstable one.

He certainly seems 'most excellent'. I hope so!
