AIBU to think I will never get a refill for my (£620) pen?

I have a few pens that I use, one of my favourite being my Chopard Brescia. The pen still sells on Chopard's website, but I am finding it hard to source refills for it.

I'm in a bit of a panic now as I installed my last cartridge for it today. It writes lovely, but worried as have ran out of refills for it now. I normally use a Parker Duofold or Cross Townsend for day-to-day use, and my Brescia normally only comes out when signing important things (quite sentimental!).

Does anyone have ideas as to where I can source refills for the Brescia? I can't seem to see them for sale on Chopard's own website, and Selfridges didn't have any in stock when I visited recently.

I have a box full of different coloured inks. It's bliss.

Nothing wrong with liking a nice pen, if anyone can't quite afford that, I can recommend the Parker Jotter for about £5-£7, excellent ballpoint and it always works whereas a lot of those cheap bics don't. I have a few of them.

I wonder if all the sneery reverse snobs act like that when they see people with expensive things in day to day life? Anytime someone drives a nice car, has a designer bag, watch? Perhaps it’s the anonymity of Mumsnet that makes people comfortable to take their jealousy out on those more fortunate. Can’t see them walking up to someone driving an Audi and say “hahaha they saw you coming! I’m using the bus!”

I did a lot of supply teaching and kept loosing pens so I had some printed with, "Stolen from Ms sashh" on them. I never lost another pen.

But you did get that I am also a pen fan and if I had the money I'd be buying more expensive pens.

The value of the pen is relevant, because OP is clearly trying to emphasise that for £620 she should be able to find a new cartridge, that it is very unlikely that they have been discontinued, and it’s not as simple as just buying a new pen.
I personally find the reverse snobbery and jealousy far more embarrassing.

I thought I was doing alright financially. Mucking along, usually with a few quid at the end of the month and then mind blown on a pen thread 😂.
I've no issue with people spending a huge amount of money on things but I have to spent the last five minutes trying to think of anything in our house except our house and car that cost more than 500 quid. There has been nothing!

A family member uses pens and I love their writing. Keep writing op....each letter than family member sends is special and kept.
