I've seen docs provided as a result of FOI requests & it's scary how much the 'trans' rubbish is being pushed in schools from primary in Scotland & accommodated in nursery (allowing children to socially transition, having 'trans' books in the school, etc). It's promoted heavily in special schools for kids with autism & learning disabilities like Kaimes in Edinburgh. Parents Watch (see user eduGlasgow) on X posted about this recently. LGBT Youth Scotland charter scheme consists of the school paying the charity to join the scheme, then the school has meetings & communications with LGBTYS who tells them to create LGBTQ clubs in schools, pushes pronoun use, tells schools they need to display posters etc, tells schools to have events for ALL the trans celebration days, tells schools to get pupils to organise assemblies, create gender neutral toilets, uniforms...it's almost oppressive it's so overwhelming! They misrepresent the EA & spread lies & misinformation. None of this is in consultation with all the parents it seems, who may receive emails about 'purple friday' where kids are asked to wear purple to celebrate LGBTQ community & allies & make a donation to LGBTYS, but little about what the charter scheme actually involves (apart from being 'inclusive'). The more I've followed it over the past couple of years the more it's obvious indoctrination with people (parents / teachers / pupils) worried to speak out against it as they'll be labelled a transphobic bigot. LGBTYS are rubbishing the Cass Report & are in favour of puberty blockers for children. There's a huge lack of safeguarding & definitely dodgy characters hovering around (for example, Andrew Easton in Aberdeen who was recently convicted of having child abuse / rape images & allegedly has links to LGBTYS). They really need to be out of schools, it's obvious they are really giving centre stage to the T & Q over the LGB.
