does anyone play candy crush?

I think I'm addicted to it actually, and I feel guilty for wasting my time playing a game. I have never spent any money playing it, but do spend too much time on it.

AIBU for playing it, or feeling guilty for playing it?

I go through phases of playing it a LOT. Then forgetting for months, and when I go back it throws all sorts of free lives and boosters and I'm hooked again for a few days. Once they run out I forget it again!

I do, most days, but I play Candy Crush Soda. Usually while tv is on something banal. I don’t spend any money on it so can stay on harder levels for days.
Currently on level 4000 and something.
I find it relaxing and haven’t found any games I prefer.

I deleted it from my phone because it was such a time suck. I have it on a tablet that is mostly used by dd2 and will occasionally play a few levels before she demands it back. It is designed to be addictive!

I got addicted to it so deleted the app.

I am now on my phone just as much, but doom scrolling instead.

Last time I played it still allowed you to use the trick of forwarding your calender to get more lives instantly ... Just a thought haha.

Yes, I had to delete it as I was absolutely addicted. I replaced it with a Japanese Kanji learning app so at least I was learning something. I also made it a point of honour never to pay for Candy Crush....

Yeah me. On level 3 billion I think. Play In the evening when there is a boring programme on TV.

I now have 4 accounts on it so I can trade stickers with myself and partner with myself on events 😂

But I do live more or less alone (adult DS here but he's not around much). And I have a fair bit of free time. So not really affecting anything.

It depends if there are other things you should be doing. If not then crack on!

Yes I got really addicted to it at one point but now the background music reminds me of when I had morning sickness - that was ten years' ago! I do still play it occasionally until I run out of lives and then I lose interest.

My addiction is Township and I'm a bit embarrassed about it. But it's so addictive. I used to play Toon Blast but spent too much money on it so eventually deleted it.

Check out the Mistplay app (will be in app stores).
It is not the fastest way to earn money, but if you are the sort of person to play games when the TV is on, or on the bus etc, then may as well get something for it.
I get about £10 every 2 to 3 weeks (I get it in Amazon gift cards).

I downloaded mistplay but it doesn't seem to have candy crush as a choice. Shame

I was addicted to CC for about a year, I used to play it for hours. I have a bit of a 'completionist' personality so wanted to get to the end. It dawned on me eventually that I would NEVER get to the end. It was a happy day when I deleted it. I'd love to just play it now and again but know I wouldn't manage to stick to that

I read last week that they add something like 70 new levels every week.

Gardenscapes, Fishdom and Bingo Frenzy Addict here. I swap from one to another when I run out of lives / tokens. I do it while I'm watching TV cos I can't just do one thing at a time. Keeps me from overthinking 🤣

Me too ! Play whilst watching tv - level 6000 something / dread to think how many hours but like others never pay or buy add ons
