I think I'm addicted to it actually, and I feel guilty for wasting my time playing a game. I have never spent any money playing it, but do spend too much time on it.

AIBU for playing it, or feeling guilty for playing it?

I had to delete it as I was spending too much money on it... around £5-10 a week! Madness.

I miss it sometimes as I liked having something to do with my hands while I watch tv. I get bored of just watching. But I think it ruined my attention span and concentration- I am now making a real effort to just do one thing at a time.

Yup! Been playing for years. I use my 5 lives on my phone app and iPad app and that's it. I like that I don't have endless lives.
It's mindless downtime for me when I'm in bed listening to my audio book.
Then I read.
I'm nearly up to level 10,000.
I don't mind being on the same level for weeks, it's just the playing that I like.

Used to play it then one day I looked at how much real time I spent on it and haven't played since.

Trying to spend less time on my iPad, but mainly looking at the news and Mumsnet.

My addiction is monopoly go 🙈

Me too @DancingLions and also picked up the card game for a snip.

I now have 4 accounts on it so I can trade stickers with myself and partner with myself on events

It got too hard and I got bored with it but I used to.

I don't understand how some of you are spending so much time on CC.
I get 5 lives and then have to wait 2 or so hours for them to regenerate. It's this aspect that appeals to me i.e. I can't sit on it for hours and hours.
There are times when I'm on a winning streak and spend a bit more time, but soon enough you hit a hard level and rattle through the lives.

I've had my years of playing Tetris until I beat it and not doing as well as I should have done in my A levels, yet excelling at Sonic the Hedgehog but CC limits play.

I have an app that limits my time on MN, fb sand candy crush.

If it's a harmless game that you're enjoying, I wouldn't feel guilty about it at all, really.

I've been playing it for years, it's the only game I play on my phone.

I do enjoy gaming in general though and spend a lot of time on my Nintendo Switch and Vr Headset

When you run out of lives you change your phone calendar to a date in the future,when you go back to candy crush you have 5 lives again (you need to put your calendar back to todays date once you’ve finished)

I love a match 3 game. Farm heroes saga and Royal Match are my current ones for a bit of chill out time.

I spent lots of time on it last year. I spent some money on it but am on Testerup where I got money for playing.

I play it but like others never buy anything for it. No idea who is spending all the £££s as they make megabucks.

People give you lives though. If you click on ask friends aka random collection of strangers. I think you are allowed 20 per day
