I just paid 60 and just curious what others pay. Not a restyle just a cut and blow dry.

£47 wash, cut and finish.

RedRidingGood · 10/08/2024 17:19

£130 cut, London. Worth it.

This makes me feel a whole lot better about me thinking I was being ripped off paying £35 when they recently put the cost up from £28.

Location makes such a big difference so don’t know how you can compare. £75 for cut and blow dry South East. I think, like lots of things, also depending on your hairstyle, you really do get what you pay for for and that the cut is everything. My hair has to be styled and more or less does itself on non wash days.

JaceLancs · 10/08/2024 17:26

£42 for a cut and roots dyeing - I don’t bother with a blow dry as it’s curly and looks better if left to dry naturally

FarmGirl78 · 10/08/2024 17:27

Not so long ago I was paying £10 for a girl from work to do it after work as a sideline AND I'd get my tea cooked for me in that 🤣🤣🤣

MonkeyPuddle · 10/08/2024 17:30

£37 for full head of foils, cut and blow dry.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 10/08/2024 17:33

£45 for a cut and blow dry, local salon, outer SW London.

No ‘products’ for me either.

Carpedimum · 10/08/2024 17:37

I paid £48 for a C&B in the North-West this week, nothing special, just a trim really. I think it’s an expensive 45 mins.

torturedpoet13 · 10/08/2024 17:37

£25, I wash it myself and the lady comes to my house cuts, restyle and blow dry then curls/straightens after

Missingpreschool · 10/08/2024 17:38

Never heard of a dry cut before? Is that for very short hair?

Ours only offer wet cut or cut and blow dry....I paid £32 but all the other salons in our area charge at least £70. I think she wanted a tip but I didn't think people did that any more so didn't have any cash on me 😬 it did only take her 30 mins though

EnergyEmoji · 10/08/2024 17:39

£25 dry cut.
Go twice a year.
Midlands.

JobbyNeuf · 10/08/2024 17:45

78 Euros, it takes an hour. I have a lob. I live in central Paris and go to quite a 'naice' salon.

I could get a little bit cheaper in a different neighbourhood (no idea of quality) but I appreciate my hairdresser as the cut is always great and grows out nicely, I like the products (and zero pressure to buy anything), the salon is clean, he's always on time and is really quick and efficient and flexible with arranging appointments, and most of all he supported me really kindly through cancer.

Itsmeamandaberry · 10/08/2024 17:45

Cut, colour and a treatment cost me £163 this afternoon.

DogsAndKidsAndSport · 10/08/2024 17:46

£40 cut and blow dry….takes about 45 mins

User100000000000000000001 · 10/08/2024 17:48

Highlights plus cut for £60. I love my hairdresser ! Have very curly hair and she cuts it exactly right. Never have blow dry as do my curly girl routine when I get home

Ginmonkeyagain · 10/08/2024 17:51

£63 for a wash cut and finish in London, senior stylist.

I have a blunt chin length bob and when you can find someone who does it well (ie not like Posh Spice in the 90s) you stick to them like glue.

Freysimo · 10/08/2024 17:52

West Wales £25 cut and blow, but I give a tip on top of that obvs. Short hair.

Londonrach1 · 10/08/2024 17:53

Wet cut £25. Used to be £10 when I was in somerset so think £25 is a lot. Local college do it for free but takes 2-3 hours and don't have time at the moment

I have curly hair and sometimes its been recommended as they can see where the curls fall naturally ...

I was on holiday in Scotland and couldn't resist a £19 dry trim as opposed to my SE £30.
Unfortunately otherwise lovely hairdresser brushed all my curls out at the start, declared my hair was very thick and then chopped it about a bit randomly. It got rid of some spilt ends and even the hairdresser had the good grace to be embarrassed at the frizzy disaster.
Everyone fell about laughing when I got home. Its fine. I have had rubbish haircuts all my life.

I am very keen to go to one of the expensive but niche curly hair people you see on tic tok.

Blackcats7 · 10/08/2024 17:58

£14 for a wet cut no blow dry because I hate that plus I can’t sit for long. Mobile hairdresser at my home due to disability. South coast.

I have curly hair and I go to one of those. She cuts it dry and curl by curl and only then does she wash it and style it to curly perfectness. I was over 40 before I found her, after a lifetime of shocking haircuts.

steadywinner · 10/08/2024 18:05

Dry cut £22

yeesh · 10/08/2024 18:14

I cut mine myself

Lovelynames123 · 10/08/2024 18:20

£35-40 for a wash, cut and blow dry a few times a year. My sister and I colour each other's hair, I could afford salon prices but don't want to when we can do it ourselves for a fraction of the cost
