How much do you pay to get your haircut?

I just paid 60 and just curious what others pay. Not a restyle just a cut and blow dry.

It was £48 today for a cut a blow. Pre pandemic/inflation I paid £29 in the same area. Seems like every time I go it's a couple of quid more.

£170 for a trim. London.

£65 cut & blow dry near Oxford, can have cheaper stylist for £45/50 but I'm fussy! 🙈
I colour it myself as I can't afford the cost of a colour!

£100 colour, cut and blow dry.

£85 for highlights and a cut

A bit of a sweeping statement. What is "overcharged" in Newcastle is a normal price in London. Hairdressers pay for their education, taxes, VAT, and premises. All of it cost money. Not to mention utilities.
Someone doing a "dry cut", whatever it is, will probably not be expected to pay the same price as wash, cut and blowdry (which takes 45-60min). Someone working for Sassoon will not be expected to charge the same price as someone working in a nursing home, for example.
I agree, £160 is a bit steep even for London and very much sounds like a director level at Sassoon. And having had my haircut done at Sassoon before I promise you it is miles better than what Split Endz on a high street can do.

£29 for a "dry" (damped down) cut and rough dry. East Anglia

Cut, colour & blow dry £185

Same here but mine’s short and done about every 4 weeks so it takes around 15 mins.

£36 for wash, cut and blow dry. West Yorkshire.

You must be a high earner to justify paying that sort of money ……I mean a trim?😱…. Bet it doesn’t look any better than some of these PPs who have paid 30 quid …..not that I’m saying it doesn’t look nice 😊…. Mind you even if I earned more than the 50k I earn….I still would pay your sort of money …..but then I am originally from Yorkshire 😂

Cut and blow dry £21

£28 for a cut and blow dry in a local salon, £45 with colour.

£15 for wash, cut and dry (and after 5 stanps I get a free cut), plus £35 for getting roots coloured. Mobile hairdresser London. Used to only be £35 total a few years back!

£50 plus hair washers tip. Central Scotland so nowhere fancy!

£50 local high street salon, London zone 2.

£30 for normal cut and blow dry and £65 if I treat myself to curly cut specialist. I'm in Glasgow 😊

£150 cut, highlights, root tint in between foils and blow dry.

£55 in a small Devon town, but the stylist is brilliant at curls, and it's her salon.

I have balayage and go twice a year for maintenance which is £130 (end of October and around April.) Sometimes a trim in between if I need it sometimes which is £30.

£0. Can’t stand going to the hairdresser so I do it myself.

Dry cut at home £7 (she charges her new 😊 £10 but old ones not been increased).

£280 for a cut, balayage and blow dry in Kent. I thought this was an absolute bargain. 20 years at a Mayfair salon obviously skewed my world view 😂
