I just paid 60 and just curious what others pay. Not a restyle just a cut and blow dry.

£35 for a cut and blow dry, Oxfordshire at Hare who have a policy of charging the same for men and women. Highly recommended.

spikeandbuffy24 · 10/08/2024 16:02

£110 for a specialist curly cut

Droolylabradors · 10/08/2024 16:02

£75 cut and blow dry (have to have a blow dry to check the ends once it's dry)

£145 T section and roots (skip the blow dry after the colour as hairdressers never blow it the way I like)

bryceQ · 10/08/2024 16:02

I have really long thick hair and in London it's about £75/£80 where I am. Usually takes them well over an hour so in my mind it's a similar price to a massage

No, it really isn't worth it. You are simply happy to be overcharged.

Sounreasonable · 10/08/2024 16:04

Unless the hair styles itself every morning that's definitely a rip off🤣🤣🤣

unsync · 10/08/2024 16:05

£27 wash, cut & blow dry. East Anglia, Salon Owner.

gamerchick · 10/08/2024 16:06

30 quid, but that includes a fiver tip.

DisforDarkChocolate · 10/08/2024 16:06

£50 plus a tip.

Best haircuts I've ever had.

It’s worth it to @10mins which is all that matters.

I spend at least that on my nails and brows every month- far more than my hair- it’s worth every penny to me.

KimberleyClark · 10/08/2024 16:06

£145 for cut, colour and blow dry.

SkankingWombat · 10/08/2024 16:07

I paid £55 for ~20 highlights, all over tint, cut and blow dry this week. I also paid £10 per child for curly dry cuts.

Boopbeepbeepboop · 10/08/2024 16:07

My DD (4) and I have a lady come to the house to cut our hair l. Two dry cuts £23. Norfolk

Wigtopia · 10/08/2024 16:11

As little as possible! I’m fine for trainees/ untrained friends to have a crack as long as I don’t have to pay much 😂

Saggyknockers · 10/08/2024 16:14

£35 cut and blow dry

Britishsummertime22 · 10/08/2024 16:16

Hmmm. Feel like I've paid a bit over.

Erm £300 for cut and balayage, south east Confused feel like I'm being ripped off? I only go once a year because I can't afford it otherwise!

SamW98 · 10/08/2024 16:16

Cut and roots - £80

Cut roots and balayage - £125

Thats a mobile hairdresser not a salon.

Last time I had a cut and full head on a local salon it was £270 just after lockdown.

I live just off M25 in a fairly affluent commuter town

Waitingforsummer75 · 10/08/2024 16:16

£32 for half head highlights, a toner, cut and blow dry. I go to a training college/salon and my hair looks the best it ever has done

Trimtreetrue · 10/08/2024 16:19

Last time I went it was £70 - I go every 6 months - in 2 years it’s gone up from £50 . I keep going as the cut is really very good- edited to say I’m in a London commuter town

If you live in the south it’s probs ok
you would only pay 60 at a very high end salon with the top stylist where I live…..otherwise about 30 to 35 quid…. But I’m in the north

DezTheMoaner · 10/08/2024 16:20

£29.99 : West Midlands last week for a significant cut (long hair which had lost all its shape) and blow dry.

I'm making a list of the most reasonably priced areas from this thread, although even Him Indoors reckoned I hadn't been overcharged this time.

Homesweethome23 · 10/08/2024 16:21

Use to pay £15 for a dry cut would get it done with half head of foils which were £65 on their own so would cost me £80 a time.
Then prices went up to over £120 a time and I just couldn’t justify the money with everything else going up.
So now a relative trims my hair every few weeks and I changed hair colour so that doesn’t need a lot of upkeep now.

Just had a quick look on their website and prices have gone up more since I stopped going.

Topseyt123 · 10/08/2024 16:22

For DD and I, £10.50 each. We have a pretty good hairdresser who comes to our house. We just ensure that our hair has been washed that day before she arrives.

We had it done this week. I paid £25 to include a tip.

We're in Essex.
