Noticed this days ago on my son I took him to the doctor and they referred us to a dermatologist and we go on the seventh it is soft and it doesn’t seem to bother him but I’m still freaking out worried sick and I need to know if anybody has dealt with this

Another vote for a harmless lipoma. I've got one. I'm not going to forward a picture, but if you google images of lipoma, you will see lots looking like the one your son has.

Update. I took to ER only for the dr to do what they GP did and just feel it with her finger n say @lipoma" I'm not convinced!! I have anxiety n keep thinking possible worst. I'm still going to the dermatologist on the 7th and will be demanding an ultrasound for real Andees n not a poke with a finger to send me in our way out !! Ty' for everyone commenting

Look. You’re the mum. You’re the head worrier. If you breezed out of there after taking the doc’s word for it that it was a lipoma and it was something else - or god forbid, something worse- you’d never, ever forgive yourself.
So you go to the dermatologist and if the dermatologist doesn’t give you a good enough answer then BY GOD you keep on demanding until you DO get a satisfactory answer.
You’re a good mum. Don’t ever let anyone tell you anything different. ❤️

OP you keep repeatedly asking for pictures from posters. I'm not sure pictures would help in any way.

I agree, it looks like lipoma. My friends horse has them as well. 3 of them on his face. Very common in humans and animals and harmless.

How did it go?

My son had a lipoma on his chest when he was little. Must admit it’s very worrying when you notice it, but he had it removed and all was fine. Looks similar. It did however come back a few years later.
