What is a cis woman? You use these words frequently but the general populace has no idea what endosex or cis even mean. You need to be clearer with your language to make your point properly.

I believe we have sufficient facts in the two independent tests carried out by court of sport arbitration labs that determined the boxers are male.

It’s likely the test was chromosomal- it’s likely she is xy.

Having XY chromosomes does not prohibit someone being a cis woman.

This person was assigned female at birth and raised female. She is likely to have a DSD with male pattern chromosomes. There are many possible variations, and we don’t know which she has.

Whether her particular variation should prohibit her from participating in female boxing is a legitimate debate. But in this case she qualified under the rules and she did nothing wrong.

A cis woman is a person registered female at birth who identifies as female. As you well know .

No tandora. You don't seem to understand that if tests show you are male (and they did say male btw), and you don't contest them therefore making them legally binding, and then go on to enter a competition reserved for females then it's perfectly acceptable to consider them a liar and a cheat.

There is so much nuance to this debate, and I think it's really important. I also think it's really important to have a reasoned, evidence based debate without it being emotive or needlessly attacking individuals. As I said, you conduct yourself in the way that you see fit, but I personally wouldn't behave in the way that you are.

What has been reported is that she was raised female since birth, is legally female, but testing was done (likely chromosome testing) and she was found to be XY . All this information is very consistent with multiple potential variations in sex development.

Yet you seem very keen to suppress clear evidence of male genitalia being precept, why is that?

I haven’t heard the word cis in absolutely ages, I didn’t even think it was still used and I have never heard of the word endosex which I think you used in a separate thread. On the other hand, you have insulted, degraded, demeaned and belittled other people. That is not how I choose to behave.

I think it’s down to feelings but that doesn’t cancel out a male puberty in regard to strength, power, height etc.

I’m really really sorry for making this argument even more offensive and dividing than it already was.

The image/ meme that the poster shared said ‘He has a d-i-c-k’ and I then used that word (beginning with D) towards the poster, which I shouldn’t have done. I thought I was breaking the tension a bit with a joke and ending it with babe to show this but it went down really badly and I have apologised. I apologise again, it was out of character for me.

As I said, this issue is really close to home, I acted emotionally. I still believe the comments and images by other posters (some of which have been doctored) as being wildly offensive but I shouldn’t have called anyone the d word.

I do think a lot of people on here are pushing horribly sexist and transphobic views that will be shocking to society in 20 years time, at least I hope they will be.

I won’t post any more because as I said I don’t think we’re getting anywhere and I don’t want to upset any more people. Thanks to those putting my point across much more eloquently than I could ❤️

It’s telling that people seem more bothered by upsetting the feelings of two people who have previously failed ‘gender tests’ that resulted in disqualification, than the fact that they may be male with a DSD with all the advantages having gone through male puberty brings, which could have dangerous, disastrous consequences for the females they fight against and women’s sports in general.

A simple test can put this right. Why isn’t this forthcoming? And a picture of their genitals is hardly hateful. People have eyes. Any concern should be directed at any female on the receiving end of those punches.
