To be really freaked out about seeing someone that wasn’t there??

My partners mum, step-dad, brother and 2 nieces are on holiday at the seaside so to we took our little one for the a day trip to have a beach day with his cousins today.

As we were driving into where they are staying and my partner was packing I said to him ‘I didn’t know your whole family was here’ when I saw his grandma standing next to his mum. He must have assumed that I was talking about his stepdad as he didn’t respond to it in a weird way/ask what I meant.

Then when we were inside I asked where his grandma had gone and where she was sleeping as they only have 2 bedrooms. Well it turns out that she isn’t there and is at home and I couldn’t have seen her because she’s not there??

What on earth happened?? What/who did I see?? Am I crazy now? 🙈

We need an update on Granny OP.

My eyes are hurting because of all the rolling they are doing. Guess what? I saw my granny's face in a pizza, then a black cat crossed my path, then a magpie flew overhead, so I cancelled my holiday in Timbuktu and flew home in a 'panicky mess', and do you know what? She was right as rain! Watching Countdown would you believe! I reckon she is a CF because she wouldn't reimburse the flight cost.

I did know this, they are also quite cuddly as babies but very smelly. I have cuddled a variety of rescued baby marsupials.

OP I’m confused about where you were when you saw her. Were you in the car? Where was your partner packing? Where did you see grandma?

Surely it's not that confusing? Packing=Parking. They were driving in, DP was parking and OP saw granny

I have had 3 of those visual hallucinations which all happened before I fell asleep. They were a cross between a spider web, a crane fly and a fairy. It was like white gossamer threads created into something I have never seen before floating across my bed.
Very scary as I knew I was awake and I followed its path across the room. I reached out for my phone to turn on the torch and when I looked back it was gone. It was so real, I even got up and turned on the light and looked everywhere for it until I realised I have never seen anything like it before so it didnt exist. Had it been something that could have existed I would have sworn blind it was real.

I haven't seen my Mum at all, although she has been in some very vivid dreams. When I saw my Dad I was very much awake. It would be lovely if we could somehow conjure up those we wanted to see and have a chat, but I think it is just random.

I feel sorry for people who don't believe this sort of thing happens and if it does happen to them they have to put a logical spin on it to explain it away. Its as if they are afraid that some people might think they are foolish in some way. By closing themselves off to these sort of possibilities they are only having a very narrow view of life.

To those people who say they haven't seen someone who "wasn't there", how do you know?

Why are you being so pedantic? There are many things science can't explain and many things that science will never be able to explain. Not everything has a scientific explanation.
Strange things do happen, it's quite ignorant to believe everything can be explained by science.
