Am I the only one to feel abit sorry for the mother of his son?

They were in a relationship until Adam went on Strictly and started a relationship with Gordon Ramsays daughter. He obvioulsy got caught up in the celebrity thing.
He know has got a tattoo of hollys name and talking of engagement. Whats the rush?

Also when the camera went to Adam and his family it was Holly who was there in the forefront with Adams mum and George etc.
I suppose Im being unreasonable, she is Adams girlfriend now.
How does the ex feel though seeing all this and knowing he had his head turned because he went on Strictly etc, and having to watch Holly with her son?

His mum is there — the child’s grandmother. Yet the (very) new girlfriend seems to be doing all the childcare…

Maybe the child likes the new girl better than he likes his grandmother and asked to sit on her knee?? I don’t know if you’ve met many 3/4 year olds, but they’re usually quite vocal about who they prefer to sit with.
In any case, we have no idea who is doing ‘all the childcare’, as we only see the very small snapshot when they’re sitting poolside.

"All the childcare" = five minutes when he probably asked to sit on his dad's girlfriend knee. Because making a tiny child sit on the knee of someone they hate is a brilliant idea at a very public event. Yup, I'm sure Ramsay family arranged it as a PR opportunity.

I read the generous message that Adams ex posted. She seems a lovely lady...

Least we forget Adam was having mental health issues. The ex may be very happy that he has moved on to someone else that can deal with his issues. She is now free as a bird!

His ex seems like a nice girl with their sons interests at heart, they broke up it happens.

Adam also seems like a nice lad, can't say dating holly is a celebrity relationship? Her dad's famous but what she known for? Though They seem happy leave them be.

Holly is definitely punching, he's way hotter than her.

You think? I thought they were well matched or in some pics that he was punching both with her and his ex.
They do seem loved up regardless of who's more photogenic at any given point.

Sadly I always got the sense he wasn’t as in love with her as she was with him.

The breakup must have hit her hard because she took a very long break from social media.

Adam said in his post-race interview that he'd woken up with a sore throat. He's been diagnosed with Covid. Imagine being sick with Covid and still winning a silver medal, 0.02 seconds behind gold!

He looks hot at the moment but he wasnt very good looking when he kept shaving his head. Him and Holly look lovely together.

I thought Adam did so well winning his silver medal. I certainly admire the way he has comeback.

As for his ex, I don’t feel sorry for her. I should image that she was glad to get rid. As much as I enjoyed his Olympic success, I would imagine that being in a relationship with someone dedicating their life to swimming, being ultra competitive, having mental health issues and then ‘finding God’ is shit. I bet she loves coparenting as friends in comparison.

Pretty sure Strictly had nothing whatsoever to do with his relationship breaking down.

He has said in the past that his ex got pregnant only 2 month after they met and he chose to do the decent thing and stay with her. The relationship quite possibly would have petered out if she had not got pregnant or not chosen to have the baby.

They had already split before he started seeing Holly.

Some people don't appear to understand the impact this can have on behaviour, mental health, decision making etc...if anything his achievements are even more noteworthy.

You need to get your facts sorted.to begin with. He did not ' go on strictly and start a relationship' the lady was not on Strictly. And what's it got to do with you or any of us ?

I saw Mark Foster mentionin how he still had pain during Olympic coverage. These athletes have insane media coverage and need to have public crises, while on a training regime that would crush most of us. It’s hard. Remember the back lash against twisties. When will we get behind our teams and hold them up.

Fantastic role models, all of them who are involved in the parenting if this child. Putting the child’s needs and interests first.

Many females would have stopped their child attending ( and especially with the exDP’s new partner).

It really isn't easy seeing your children as part of another family ‘without you’.

I can imagine being the partner of an elite sportsperson is not easy.

He’s not just a swimmer. He’s a swimmer who has overcome alcoholism and mental illness, to get clean and get back to the Olympics, and be clearly delighted with a silver medal. He’s amazing.
