I have:

  • heartburn
  • swollen down there (v painful)
  • spot on my tongue
  • AND a cold
  • can’t eat choc I am very close to getting gestational diabetes and thats all I want right now

Pregnant and still have 2 months to go. Dh is away and I’m in bed with my dog who is waiting for my brother to come take him for a walk. So he’s being a little naughty. Keeps chucking balls on my head, bless him.

Misery loves company i guess. What is pissing you off?

Hormonal insomnia being made worse by overactive thyroid and as always complete lack of money. I really need to win the lottery because it's just getting ridiculous 😅

Sheelanogig · 25/07/2024 21:49

My complaint is about DP.
Thurs are the only evening a week he is expected to sort the evening meal.out.

I'd been out early morning until mid-afternoon, then took DS2 to his hospital appt. Then took DS took his physio class. Got back at 7.40pm.

He'd not put the oven on, prepped anything... he'd got in from work at 4pm.

Tosser.

I had a vitreous detachment 4 weeks ago and it caused huge floaters in one eye. I am very short sighted but one eye is better than the other and it is in my "good" eye. At the time I was relieved it was not a retinal detachment. I was told it would take up to 3 months for the floaters to improve (they would "settle" towards the bottom of my eye), that they will not disappear but they should settle and I would get used to them. A month on and my sight in that eye is still badly affected. My depth perception is also affected and I am aware that I am moving cautiously and more slowly. I am 57 and I feel that this has already had an impact on my overall fitness. I feel quite down about it tonight and a bit vulnerable.

I hope all those with health conditions or other worries find some comfort soon.

Soukmyfalafel · 25/07/2024 21:55

An alarm going off and nobody turning it off. Someone tell me the logic of having an alarm on a building when there is nobody around to turn it off please.

Tossers.

Soukmyfalafel · 25/07/2024 21:57

I thought I'd follow the theme of ending the post with he word tossers as a previous poster has.

Overtheatlantic · 25/07/2024 21:57

I’m worried about the US election but otherwise okay.

Dotto · 25/07/2024 21:58

A.I. implementation in the workplace, leading to redundancies in next few months, reading between lines. Recruitment freeze so far.

Miley1967 · 25/07/2024 21:59

Noise. I'm just so sick of noise. we live a few streets away from a main road and there are just motorcycles seemingly racing up day and night. It's driving me crazy. Tried to go for a walk this evening at local country park and could still hear it. Dog was frightened. Neighbors having a big extension built and workman just crashing around and shouting all day. Not looking forward to wfh tomorrow. I just want peace and quiet. Sorry for the moan !

Biancobianca · 25/07/2024 22:00

Migraine.

Moier · 25/07/2024 22:00

I'm very serverly disabled.
My hospital appointment for my hip injections have been cancelled for the 5th time.. l was suppose to have them in March and I'm in agony.
I'm waiting for my prolapse bladder appointment too.. which is also painful.
I'm still grieving for my sister who passed away 2 months ago.

You need your own thread. WTF, what did you say to him? "Why are you so useless?"

LindorDoubleChoc · 25/07/2024 22:02

I just dropped a glass tumbler in the sink. Absolutely normal bog standard glass tumbler, quite thick glass, the kind of thing you'd buy in a supermarket. It has shattered into a million tiny shards! I've never seen anything quite like it.

Noise cancelling headphones, doesn't solve all but makes WFH a little easier

BellesAndGraces · 25/07/2024 22:03

Recovering from an unsuccessful surgery, went shopping on the first day ive been allowed out but felt like a fat lump, DH is stressed about work and not entertaining me. Tossers.

5128gap · 25/07/2024 22:06

The dress I planned to wear to an event on Saturday has inexplicably replaced itself with a cheap looking, garishly coloured garment a size smaller while I wasn't looking. I have a headache, my cat has scratched the stair carpet and I've run out of squash.

BloodandGlitter · 25/07/2024 22:09

Don't know if there's enough space on mumsnet for me to complain. Had a full blow panic attack earlier.

  • My SSRI's make me unable to cope with even the slightest bit of warmth
  • I've been sick all week with covid
  • I haven't slept properly all week
  • I think my meds need upping again
  • My DD21 is a brat who does nothing but complain right now despite still living at home with DGS and getting all her meals cooked for her and all her cleaning done
  • The above is my own fucking fault
  • The summer holidays are coming up and we will be alone through it all because both mine and DH's families are fucking shit.
  • My house is a mess
  • I can't stop hoarding food
  • I can't lose weight thanks to my meds that I won't survive without.
  • Everythings getting really bad again and I'm a little bit scared.
QuacketyQuack · 25/07/2024 22:09

Mum got cremated today. Grandma got very drunk at the wake, everyone expected me to deal with her by myself.

noweddingnocry · 25/07/2024 22:10

Fell over on Saturday night after drinking cocktails in high heels .Ankle still painful .

ShinySteel · 25/07/2024 22:12

I've had two glasses of wine and dived on the kids' snacks.

So I'm complaining about eating the food I bought...
.

Passivelypresent · 25/07/2024 22:14

Daughter has a sickness bug. Hate it when they are poorly. She's not usually one for picking up bugs. House is in total chaos as decorating and I'm on my period. DH has just gone to get a Chinese at this hour because we haven't eaten yet as too busy trying to sort daughters room out for her to get into her own bed tonight now she is mostly recovered. I'm tired and need a shower and the washing is still on the line. Think that is it.

Crystallizedring · 25/07/2024 22:15

Tired. Always tired as I wake up at 3 every morning, fall asleep again around 4 then DS is up for the day at 5.
All on me as I'm the SAHM so also jealous of DH getting a lie in until 6:30!

ShutYourSausageRollHole · 25/07/2024 22:15

My ears are really itchy 😭

Hibernatalie · 25/07/2024 22:25

Fuck all.

CombatLingerie · 25/07/2024 22:26

Sympathies to all PP’s hoping things improve quickly for you all. My complaint? Two words ‘house renovation’.

Whoopsmahoot · 25/07/2024 22:27
