I have:

  • heartburn
  • swollen down there (v painful)
  • spot on my tongue
  • AND a cold
  • can’t eat choc I am very close to getting gestational diabetes and thats all I want right now

Pregnant and still have 2 months to go. Dh is away and I’m in bed with my dog who is waiting for my brother to come take him for a walk. So he’s being a little naughty. Keeps chucking balls on my head, bless him.

Misery loves company i guess. What is pissing you off?

I have a bladder infection.

Other than that, everything is tickety boo.

Polythene · 25/07/2024 22:28

I've got red ants in my allotment.

Flossiemoss · 25/07/2024 22:28

I have Covid and feel like a wet rag.
@QuacketyQuack 💐I hope you’re having sometime to yourself or have someone supportive with you now .

Daisy03 · 25/07/2024 22:30

Breast cancer.
2 holidays getting cancelled because of dates clashing with surgeries
Tossers!

MrsPatrickDempsey · 25/07/2024 22:31

@LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood
I came on this thread to post about my vision too.
I had a retinal detachment last year and now have a cataract in that eye and can't see a thing. I too have vitreous detachment and lattice degeneration in the other eye and the floaters are awful. I am not driving and irritable and miserable so solidarity to you.

flummingbird · 25/07/2024 22:34

Trying to deal with DDs dad (ExH) who seems to make chaos out of everything and doesn't seem to give a crap that it then affects everyone else's plans for their time with DD that i spent ages organising to cover me working in the holidays. But he's got the hardest life of anyone on the planet ever. Poor him 🙄

WouldUSayImWorthy · 25/07/2024 22:36

I'm in love with the wrong person.

Soonenough · 25/07/2024 22:37

Surgery hasn't improved anything . Struggling with meds. Completely unfit . Comfort eating which makes me feel sick/fat/ . Always tired.
Tossers.

LostittoBostik · 25/07/2024 22:37

I have a UTI. The antibiotics aren't working.

I went through a decade of this misery in my 20s then got it all under control about 12 years ago. I'm terrified I'm right back at the start.

GoofyGoldie · 25/07/2024 22:38

2nd & 3rd line chemos have failed. I have to self fund next one. Cancer fatigue is so real.
Been reading about the side effects for the next treatment, it's scarey. And the steroids I'm now on for pain aren't helping my diabetes. The OT ordered me a wheelchair today - I'm sure I don't really need one yet. I'm too fat for anyone to push anyway.

HeySummerWhereAreYou · 25/07/2024 22:38

I'm too fat! 😩 Need to lose 2 stone. (Have lost 11 pounds in 5 weeks so far on 5:2 though! So onwards and upwards.) Smile

mrsm43s · 25/07/2024 22:38

On a trivial level, I have a huge spot on my cheek. At fucking 51! Seriously, you're meant to grow out of spots in your teens, no?

On a deeper level, dealing with death and disability and caring responsibilities etc so much too much that I'm just not going there.

LostittoBostik · 25/07/2024 22:39

@MissingMoominMamma snap, ugh. Sorry you're going through it too

I'm 42 and have acne constantly since the age of 19 apart from a couple of years when I was breastfeeding. It's bullshit.

Everley · 25/07/2024 22:44

• chronic pain and fatigue is making my life miserable. It’s been like this for 15 years now
• I feel like I’m failing my DD because I can’t be the parent I want to be because of my health
• my house is a complete mess and I never have the energy to do anything about it, apart from basic cleaning
• I am dependent on DH’s income and hate not having financial independence or freedom
• I am 4 stone heavier than I would like to be
• worrying about my aging parents who seem to have every day filled up with childcare for other people, in their retirement years, and they are knackered
• just constantly feel like I am drowning but never seem to be able to do anything about it
• plantar fasciitis that I’ve had since November

houseworkneverends · 25/07/2024 22:48

I’m spiraling

I have lost all my senses and booked stylist appointment at the end of Oct. More money than I care to admit. I really have never had any clue with clothes, my wardrobe is embarrassing for a 44 year old mum of twins. I really want to lose weight - size 16/18 but part of me thinks should I even bother as I’m sure to put it back on again and then all the lovely new expensive clothes won’t fit which will be the most epic waste of time and money.

soooooo do I just accept that I’m this size and embrace it or actually try and lose some weight

and yes I am always a massive over thinker

Overtheatlantic · 25/07/2024 21:57

I’m worried about the US election but otherwise okay.

Why? Does this affect you directly in the Uk?

onceuponatree · 25/07/2024 22:53

Broken arm
Grumpy peri menopause
No money

Ihateboris · 25/07/2024 22:55

I've been bitten by something on my cheek and the itching is driving me insane 😩

GauntJudy · 25/07/2024 22:56
  • Stupid perimenopause symptoms
  • Fatigue
  • Loneliness whilst also not wanting to have company
  • 47 and stagnant at work while bright young things get promoted, I feel like a total loser
Astridmoons · 25/07/2024 22:59

Well, day 2 of a hemiplegic migraine.

Worried about my holiday as I don’t want a migraine in another country. Mine look like strokes.

My hallway carpet still stinks of musty dog after we bought the house 3.5 years ago and we can’t afford to rip it up yet.

And the weather has been so dark and dreary that my SAD has kicked in already! Usually don’t feel this low until October but have been tearful and feeling bleak and dreary for weeks

However for balance, I’ve lost a little bit of weight and I think my shite time at work may be getting better (after a huge fall out with my boss who then got told to move jobs internally) and I got a pay rise :)

MsCactus · 25/07/2024 22:59

Work is insanely busy

I can't hear in my left ear because it's blocked - having to have an ear suction.

DC won't sleep. Sooo tired

IntriguingFactJumble · 25/07/2024 22:59

Should.be having heart surgery in next week or so but can't get 3 back teeth out until 23 weeks have passed. Already waited nearly 14 years since first chest pain, more specifically since late November when I spoke to my surgeon-to-be.

Heart meds I've been on since August ish give me nightmares.

Need another part-time job but not worth applying until I've healed after op.

Meh.

Luluem · 25/07/2024 23:01

Enormous. Heartburn. PGP. Always sweaty and hot. Still 6 more weeks of pregnancy to go. But others on this thread have it much worse, solidarity to all!

Ginandtoniconthedeck · 25/07/2024 23:02

I have a blinking huge stye under my right eye. My eye ball/socket is itchy and the stye is actually a wee bit in my vision too. So annoying.
