To ask which dog breed you think is most represented in the media?

Can't work out if my mind is playing tricks on me or if my puppy is the most used dog type in advertising/branding/television shows etc.

I'm aware of Baader-Meinhoff phenomenon so I'm wondering if it's that (or confirmation bias??).

So I'm trying for objectivity here 😂.

Which breed do you think you see most often? And useful to know if it's your breed or one that's close to your heart?

Labradors and show cockers

Poo mixes but it may because I notice them more as I don't find them at all photogenic. It baffles me why are they everywhere in advertising.

My answer is corgi or dachshund at the moment.

5 years ago it would have been labrador, golden, or border collie. Jack Russell at a push.

Adverts seem to be labs or spaniels

SM seem to be Golden retrievers (the smiley cute fluffy stereotype) and dachshunds (the little devilish fucker stereotype). And a few huskies for the vocals.

Agree, seems a very odd choice for a dog name.

Apologies, it's obviously not my pup's name, I'm not popping a photo plus name on the www. I thought from the ridiculously outrageous word I posted, it would be apparent, especially as Goldies are the gentlest of dogs.

She's got a normal old lady name of the ilk Flora/Margot/Ivy.

I think collies are used a lot

Labs and Golden Retrievers! Maybe because huge brands like Andrex use them though so bound to see more often. Flash had the cool singing dog with the poodle too... loved that one. FLASH, AAAHHHHH
