I mean someone tried to murder him, he came very close to having died. He went through a terrifying experience and came out saying fight and raising his fist in defiance. I think he’s an odious man but despite that, I have to concede a nod to that.

i was also very impressed! I don’t like trump or his policies. I’m scared of his anti democratic rhetoric. But he’s a great showman, I completely understand his appeal to some.

Agreed. Self-protection and self-promotion are what drives him, none of which should be mistaken for bravery.

I didn’t say whether I agree with his policies, or not agree with them. Just pointing out that others are allowed to have different views to others. America have to vote for what they feel is best for them as a country.

I don’t think anyone has much control over how they respond to an intense situation like this, so I don’t think we can condemn or congratulate him.

Boris and his ilk were dicks but they weren't wannabe dictators. They wanted to rule the establishment not get rid of it. Trump is an entirely different class.
