Yup absolutely. There were 244 knife homicides in the UK in the year 2022 to 2023. 244 too many, but less than the previous year.

There were nearly 43,000 gun violence death in the US in 2023. Five times the population, 176 times the deaths.

Why? He looks deranged. Yeah fight, fight -to vote against a party who wanted to tighten up gun laws. It makes him look weak. He’s an ex president and the secret service couldn’t protect him from the reality of his rhetoric.

And these comments being from people who think they have the moral high ground 🫠

i know this is a tangent but seriously how can a man like trump be on the verge of re election ? I just don't get how so many people worship.the guy and despite numerous scandals and convictions nothing sticks ?
And where is Mrs Trump ? You never see much of her ? Has Melania rushed to her husbands side? It is all so bizarre. I get the impression that she is one person who would be happy to see him lose. She didn't seem overly engaged with being first lady the first time around.

Does J D Vance have insider knowledge ? How is he aware of the shooters motives ? or is he just political point scoring ? Is this his only comment on the situation ? Surely he must have said something about the poor victims and not condoning violence in politics ?

This is a dreadful thing to happen and this kind of violence is profoundly depressing. I hope those injured make a full recovery.

That said, Trump followers can hardly moan about people coming up with conspiracy theories. Trump has weaponised and enabled conspiracy theories with abandon throughout his political career, not least about the result of the last election.
