Just curious...if anyone isn't watching England play on Sunday are you planning to do something else instead?

I couldn't give a flying flipadoodle about it so thinking film and a take away. DH will be out at the pub watching it so have the remote and Deliveroo app to myself.

So 1966 world cup win isn't a significant part of English history?

No, that would be the invasion of 1066.

I didn't suggest it was THE most important event

Yes because no gays ever watch football they only come out for Eurovision 🙄

As I've said before, none of the gay bars/pubs near me show it. And no, I don't only come out for eurovision. I'm indifferent to it to be honest. So are most of my gay friends.

I think you might struggle to get a takeaway though. Hope you enjoy the film you choose.

I've managed to avoid the whole of Wimbledon - and also, regularly, manage to avoid rugby and cricket

Not sure I'd need advice from MN on how to live a normal life while not watching 2 TV channels?

We’re going on holiday next week so I’m going to start packing, getting documents together etc. Bath and an early night.
