I’ll start by saying I LOVE Coldplay! Watching Glasto live from the comfort of my bed…..is anyone else wondering what’s going on with Chris Martin’s voice? Or is it my imagination

Maybe something to do with the sound system? I’ve seen Iron Maiden a few times and know that Bruce Dickinson has a phenomenal voice. Saw them at Download one year and it was all a bit meh. A few people commented it was something to do with the sound system that year.

Watched Paul Heaton’s set on iPlayer and it was excellent. He still sounds like he did 30 years ago. Coldplay have some ok songs but were never good at the vocals, he is more about bouncing about than singing.

I love Paul Heaton. Am saving it until DH is here to watch it with me.
Keane were great.
What did everyone think of Cyndi Lauper? Suspect in places but then I heard she had sound issues too.

Chris has always struggled with his voice but he does sound hoarser than when I heard them the last couple of times, it’s true!

We saw him at Neighbourhood last year and he wad amazing. Doesn't sound any different to 30 years ago

I'm watching it with my older son and he just said"why's he dancing like that?"

I love a bit of Coldplay even with the gyrating. No complaints from me.

He’s always had quite a thin voice and has difficulty hitting the high notes.

That said, the production on this set is excellent and they’re making it look all very easy, which isn’t something that’s actually easy!

I'm gutted I didn't know they were this... I love Coldplay. We went to Wembley in 2022 and it was the best show I had seen.

He's lost so much weight tho?? This tour has obviously took its toll on his health.

It will be amazing there! Went to coldplays head full of dreams tour - the best live concert I have ever been by far!! I would argue that it was better than tonight 😅
