I'm on night shift, the last of 30 and am flying home this afternoon. Hopefully...

It my birthday! Not that I have anything planned other than go to work but I woke up and remembered. Thought it was raining and wondered if I should bring the washing in and then realised it's husbands awful fan he makes us sleep with if it's ever remotely warm.

I'm in hospital, it's boiling hot, noisy and brighter than it needs to be at this time of the day!

Feeling a bit miserable here with lack of sleep and illness. Not sure I can tolerate tea.

Work - off at 7 am.

A regular thing. 4am wide awake , drift back around 7am for an hour before alarm. Home life, money worries and trying to handle my responsibilities keeps me up I think. Plus it is not warm here.

Drove my ds to work for a 3.45am 11 hour shift.

I’m sorry, hope you’re ok.

Off to work. That and worried about family.

That I’m in a long term relationship (decades) and still not married. Trouble is even if he was to propose, I don’t know if I’d say yes now, it’s been so long and has taken the spark and love from it all. This is not how I thought my life would be.

Worrying about how much I need to do at work (I work a four day week but workload feels like it’s FT), and the demands are getting harder than before. PMS raising my “everyone hates me” voice, and I’m getting worked up because being tired will make it all 💯 worse.

I'm currently in Thailand and it's 11am

I wish I’d read the messages before posting my own, which now feels completely insignificant. So sorry for your loss and I hope you have people nearby to help you through this time x

Insomnia and I’m taking antihistamines for hayfever, which bugger my sleep pattern.

Gallbladder attack

Window open (too hot) and wind knocked over something on window ledge. DH got up to sort it and then as soon as he got back into bed he promptly fell asleep snoring loudly (sleeping anywhere/ anytime on demand is his very annoying superpower). I'm Now wide awake but I'm fairness this is usual for me at this time. Nice bit of menopausal insomnia and I can spend day looking forwarded to be exhausted as standard.

Minor issues compared to those that are awake and stressed/ upset/ have babies who just won't sleep etc (I e been there). Sending you all

Thanks, and it’s fine, life goes on. There are plenty of other times I would have been moaning about work or the weather!

Cat decided 4:15am was the perfect time to cough up a hairball next to my bed. Cat is now sleeping peacefully. I am not. So I've had a cup of tea and bought some shoes.
