Would you go out with hairy legs?

In shorts/skirt/dress?

I think I’ve reached a new low.
Since having my Dd I’ve had less time to
spend on myself as I previously did and I’m
less bothered. The other day it was hot, I was short of time and went out in shorts…with hairy legs. I’m a brunette so have quite dark, hairy legs, part of me thought eurgh, but then, ahh cba

Like 3cm long or 5mm? I don't shave mine in winter, then about every two weeks in summer. They get as hairy as my adult son's in winter.

Yep! I don't remove hair on my legs. Might do for something like wearing a dress to a wedding or some such. I had my oxters lasered a few years ago, so nothing to them. I do though, as a swimmer, wax my bikini line...

Not intentionally no. I once went swimming with the kids in winter and was horrified when I realised I hadn't shaved my legs. They hadn't been done for a while and I was embarrassed although u cldnt notice it too badly unless up closer. I tried just to stay in the water 😂

I bet hardly anyone noticed an so what if they did no one really cares. If u don't then that's all that matters!

No but I have what I call summer trousers for hot days when I haven't shaved recently. Like floaty linen trousers that can be worn with a t-shirt and flip flops.

GalacticalFarce · 06/06/2024 12:59

No I wouldn't. I have quite thick dark hair and I'd be way too self conscious.

Oxters - one of my mum's favourite words! Mine are currently hair free, but mainly as an experiment to see whether my deodorant would do its job better. It doesn't.

Marblessolveeverything · 06/06/2024 15:51

You do you - I would not because I would not be comfortable. I wouldn't notice anyone else's legs yes I appreciate the hypocrisy !

I've introduced my DC & my DP to the word oxters, it's ace!

I have quite blonde leg hair so my legs just have a blurry vibe rather than looking hairy. They do look nicer shaved though, according to my aesthetic.

Sometimes I rub Nuxe oil into my legs when they're a bit hairy and it makes them look smoother. (Top tip)

My arms are super hairy and it's quite dark. I shave them more than my legs. Arms are a much less major task though.
