You know those little things in life that people like to morally police and make you feel guilty about but you just can't muster up the shit to give?

This is a confession thread. I'll start.

I don't give a shit that you supposedly shouldn't feed bread to ducks. I don't care. Don't eat it then. People have been feeding them bread for decades and now we're supposed to bring them organic bloody walnuts or something? Or some other crap they don't want that doesn't float?
They can have my slightly mouldy bread and be grateful.

So you can't answer my question then? Which if you recall is: Why is it a useful and positive thing for society that men be allowed in women's toilets? Because insulting women with silly words to describe their concerns like 'froth' and talking about other issues isn't doing a thing to convince me to support your cause over that of the women who oppose you.

Weddings. I don't give a shit about them. When I hear about a wedding I know I'm getting an invite to, I shudder at the cost to me. Hen do, stag do for DH, hotels, outfits and money in a card. A few years ago, we had a wedding abroad. 5,000 it cost us to go to a place that we would never have chosen to go to. We couldn't say no, it would have caused carnage in the family.

Buses. Driving is usually faster and cheaper.

Gin. Expensive cheese (mild cheddar is lovely). Sourdough. Cupcakes. ‘Good quality’ chocolate (not as nice as bog standard chocolate). Olives.

Photos of other people’s house redecoration, pets, children (but I like holiday photos).

Keeping the heating turned off to save the environment. If it’s cold I warm my house up.

Plastic bottles. They’re more portable and reusable than glass ones and I always recycle them.
