I wish there were a switch to turn my life off
Should be a way out, but I'm too much of a coward to do the thing it would take, as I don't want pain, I don't want to cause pain, I just want out.
Don't want to have to explain.
There's no answer anyway
Can't phone a helpline coz I'd be overheard
Writing on this, coz it's soundless
Is there a painless way out?

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.
