I bet Susan's at home kicking the cat and mainlining gin.

Holes in all the walls too

littlbrowndog · 24/05/2024 10:52

Susan. Bad Susan

nauticant · 24/05/2024 10:52

Edward Henry KC is representing five former sub postmasters and subpostmistresses, Tracy Felstead, Seema Misra, Janet Skinner, Nicki Arch and Lee Castleton.

Have they managed to get Susan out from under the bus now ?

meimei80 · 24/05/2024 10:53

I'm almost impressed by how she is manoeuvring him, horrible woman.

Quirkyme · 24/05/2024 10:53

@grumpygrape

She's back on the chair outside

stronglatte · 24/05/2024 10:53

Can't believe they just shared a document which confirmed this should have all been overturned dated over 12 years ago which she had seen

murasaki · 24/05/2024 10:54

No, she's wedged in there with everyone else.

Its a good tactic though, we all need a Susan. It's a bit like a kid and their imaginary friend whose fault all misdemeanours were.

Quirkyme · 24/05/2024 10:54

I dunno. I feel that the fact he has been warned about 3 times now, she's using to her advantage

Sceptic1234 · 24/05/2024 10:56

Direct accusation that she knew about Gareth Jenkins' alleged perjury.

That's a big one ..... judge and jury should have the chance to decide if that's true.

murasaki · 24/05/2024 10:58

Cloying managerialese is about right.

DanielGault · 24/05/2024 10:58

I really cannot get over how much of this shit they put in writing 🙄

meimei80 · 24/05/2024 10:59

Here come the weaponised tears.

Really? I find it interesting when people say this. You must work in workplaces where people are very nice and don't behave in callous ways, or they are just smart enough not to put it in writing.

WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout · 24/05/2024 11:01

He didn’t crucify her enough imo.

nauticant · 24/05/2024 11:01

If I've got that right Mr Henry thanked his "learned junior" who I believe is Flora Page: https://www.23es.com/barrister/flora-page/. She does lively questioning too.

I don't imagine he's very happy with having been interrupted and warned a few times and then not getting to end properly

EggcornAcorn · 24/05/2024 11:02

yy 'learned junior', a nice touch.

Post GDPR, it became really necessary to put virtually nothing in writing. But tbh, even pre GDPR, if I was hatching a dastardly plan, I wouldn't have done it on the company email. You always knew they had access and were potentially looking. Maybe I'm just a bit paranoid though?

I adore how you all ignored the scolding 😁

nauticant · 24/05/2024 11:05

I assumed it was just someone looking for a fight but I'm not interested in that.

Remember ... this is an enquiry. All these lawyers want to do is establish that there is evidence of criminal conduct. This evidence can then be used to support a case for prosecution.

Disappointing not to see people publically shamed, but this is not the aim.

littlbrowndog · 24/05/2024 10:14

No memory at all about anything

As I said yesterday it's really the only argument she has left - and is doubtless being claimed on her legal team's advice

Quirkyme · 24/05/2024 11:06

@DanielGault

Honestly, many people from middle management up are above caring. Like they just think they won't be caught, and/or no one will challenge them.

Many of these same people lack sense too, clearly
