It’s an incredibly strange stance isn’t it? I find it incredibly childish to be honest. It’s probably my fault because people who can’t think properly really wind me up

Why is it exaggerated? Probably 3 or 4 times a day at least somebody blows out a huge plume as we walk past and the buggy goes through it. I think when you’re doing the vaping it’s easy to think you’re the only person who can smell/inhale it as ‘it’s outside and a bit windy’ but you really can.

It’s antisocial, selfish and profoundly stupid

If you read my posts. I vape. But it's possible to vape without being a twat.

I live in a really busy part of London and I can honestly say as much as I've seen people blowing out massive plumes, it's been quite rare.

Most vapers I see seem to use the small disposables, and they're incapable of producing huge plumes.

Big clouds come from direct to lung vapes (big vapes) rather than the mouth to lung small vapes.
The bigger direct to lung vapes give a more satisfying hit, and a satisfying exhale - these two points are why vaping is more successful than various other methods of getting people off cigarettes, smokers crave that hit and the exhale and without it, without that need met, they tended to go back to smoking (so for example the nicorette inhaler, isn't very effective at all compared to vaping, there is no exhale).

I struggled to give up cigs using the smaller vapes, when I went to a big sub ohm tank, direct to lung, I never looked back. Now I use the big tank in the car or at home and a smaller mouth to lung vape if I am out in public.

There may be a small subsection of people who think blowing huge clouds make them look extremely cool, they almost all have massive beards, man buns and tiny willies though.

Vape smoke doesn’t go up, it plumes out. And if it’s windy it gets blown everywhere.

Or the 'massive plumes' are being blown into the buggy by Umpa Lumpa sized people.

I loathe vaping, I admit.

At one point, I was gettinyumpteen menthol cigarette ends in my garden, courtesy of a neighbour. Then she switched to vapes and I got umpteen empty capsules. Thankfully, she’s no longer a neighbour but I’m still getting them chucked at my driveway.

it’s also a problem at work - Scottish secondary school. We’re now getting the school ‘hard men’ openly vaping. Yes, it’s the large plume variety.

The school should deal with it, but is getting little backing from the LA and the HT seems to be scared to put their foot down.

The LA is being mealy mouthed: ‘It’s not actually illegal for under 18s to vape - it’s just illegal for them to buy vapes’.
