It's amazing what she knows know that she didn't know then.

Only when she had the bundles to read through and then got others to explain it to her. She's now basocally admitting massive incompetence as the safest option.

Yet she led the Post Office into profit and got her massive bonuses.

Yet she led the Post Office into profit and got her massive bonuses.

And part of that massive profit was the fictitious missing money that showed up on the sub postmasters' computer system.

porridgecake · 22/05/2024 16:03

Pressed send too soon. The sub postmasters were made to repay this fictitious money, which then went into the post Office profits.

I've done minute taking at meetings, people are often very upset when they read back what they have said and will argue to get it take out of minutes. I never lied or added anything so I just thought tough if you don't like it you shouldn't have said it. I've had people fall out with me as they expected me to edit what they said.

I had exactly the same experience where a colleague wanted me to rewrite the entire minutes based on what she wished she'd said instead of what she actually said. Fucking idiot.

littlbrowndog · 22/05/2024 16:04

Say what now. You didn’t know that Fujitsu could have unregulated access to the horizon system and post masters accounts.

Jason Beer is very good. I do enjoy watching a skilled craftsman at work.

He is marvellous
I'm enjoying him very much

Realduchymarmalade · 22/05/2024 16:04

What a sorry sack of sh*t she is. Saturated with self pity for her own precious skin. The snivelling is vile, those tears are for no one but herself.

Quite, and if one were to attach the payouts and legal costs to the relevant year per relevant sub postmaster mistreatment, by gosh, the profits would vanish!

murasaki · 22/05/2024 16:06

6 more convictions quashed today while all this is going on according to the Guardian.

littlbrowndog · 22/05/2024 16:07

True answer ☹️😏

Allofaflutter · 22/05/2024 16:07

Paula is not enjoying it is she! 😂

murasaki · 22/05/2024 16:09

Allofaflutter · 22/05/2024 16:07

Paula is not enjoying it is she! 😂

He's brought a gun to a punch up, not a fair fight. And that's her fault as she has no leg to stand on.

Gilead · 22/05/2024 16:09

An awful lot of prevarication.

Allofaflutter · 22/05/2024 16:09

She is deeply wishing she hadn’t sent any emails!

littlbrowndog · 22/05/2024 16:10

Just lying. She was told it was wrong

Allofaflutter · 22/05/2024 16:10

I have a little crush too. He’s super sharp.

murasaki · 22/05/2024 16:11

0oh, points of punctuation. I love him.

And now she remembers why she phrased it this way. She's a worm wriggling on the hook.

Good pauses post her answer to let the lies sink in.

littlbrowndog · 22/05/2024 16:12

I never recalled seeing the addendum. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

littlbrowndog · 22/05/2024 16:13

Ooh here’s the addendum from Jane

AutumnCrow · 22/05/2024 16:14

Is she coming across more as clinically insane or inherently evil? Happy for that to be an ecumenical matter.

You do reach a point where it is so ridiculous you don't know if you should laugh or cry. I did have an occasion where a member of staff dictated a whole report to me, came back about two hours later and asked if I'd sent it, I hadn't and he said he had lied and couldn't go through with it. I did ditch that report as he clearly hadn't got the makings of a master criminal but that was a one off.

murasaki · 22/05/2024 16:16

That doc on screen is pretty damning.

littlbrowndog · 22/05/2024 16:16

It is

Iwasafool · 22/05/2024 16:17

Allofaflutter · 22/05/2024 16:09

She is deeply wishing she hadn’t sent any emails!

When my kids started work after uni I told them to keep copies of any emails with anything they weren't comfortable with. It did come in useful when things went wrong at one place and the boss tried to throw one under the bus (gets so crowded under those buses) and an email trail proved he was lying.
