Seriously lacking in a) inspiration and b) motivation.

BBQ? Salad? Pizza oven?

What are your Sunday dinner plans?

Some Charlie thing curry. Was reduced in Waitrose as I think they are overpriced.

If you're going to BBQ, we had fresh mackerel from the fish shop yesterday on the BBQ.

It was amazing!

Mackerel? And you didn't invite me??

You can go off some people...

Dinner tonight is probably going to be some ham in a cheese roll that I got free yesterday. Not terribly inspiring I know, but I have four rolls to use up and there's only one of me.

Andywarholswig · 19/05/2024 12:55

BBQ - marinated jerk chicken, bbq marinated pork shoulder, left over homemade coleslaw, feta salad and new potatoes

SpringLobelia · 19/05/2024 13:01

Freezer surprise tonight which yielded spagetti bolognese.

But for lunch we have just had marinated chicken wraps with tzatsiki, tomato and lettuce followed by New York cheesecake.

Decafflatteplease · 19/05/2024 13:02

Slow cooker lasagna here, about to put it on now

gingercat02 · 19/05/2024 13:19

It's cold and grey here. I'm considering lasagne

TheDumpling · 19/05/2024 13:22

For todays dinner I've got a pack of Walls Mini Savoury Eggs, with Hellman's Garlic Mayo and a box of McCain Quick Chips washed down with a bottle of Inch's Cider!

AhBiscuits · 19/05/2024 13:24

I've got some leftover bolognaise in the fridge. I'm going to turn it into lasagne.

WeightoftheWorld · 19/05/2024 13:48

We are just having jacket potatoes with cheese and beans!

throwinthetowel · 19/05/2024 13:48

Quiche and salad

Deadringer · 19/05/2024 13:49

BBQ, and I am not lifting a finger. Bliss

IdgieThreadgoodeIsMyHeroine · 19/05/2024 13:53

Sweet potato thai curry, from the Green Roasting Tin cook book.

Plump82 · 19/05/2024 13:55

Homemade curried cauliflower soup with onion bhaji paninis. Although the soup tastes strange and I'm wondering if there was something off about the cauliflower 🥴 it was rather green when I was chopping it up!

bloodyplumbing · 19/05/2024 13:57

@NeverEnoughPants next time I'll be sure to send you an invite!

Riverlee · 19/05/2024 14:00

BBQ - burgers, sausages, corn on cob, potato salad, salad

Spottedshell · 19/05/2024 14:12

Cold roast chicken, potato salad, leftover quiche, cheeses, coleslaw, lettuce, tomatoes and crusty baguette.

Yep. The Picky Tea.

soundsys · 19/05/2024 14:13

Cold roast chicken, potato salad, leftover quiche, cheeses, coleslaw, lettuce, tomatoes and crusty baguette.

Yep. The Picky Tea.

I have pretty much had that for lunch

AgentJohnson · 19/05/2024 14:21

Pesto Chicken with tagliatelle and Pavlova (I made curd and have a ton of egg whites over).

Benvolio · 19/05/2024 14:25

Pork belly slices I plan to shove in oven with a sprinkle of dried chili, fennel seeds, olive oil and celery. Roast slowly. Eaten with red cabbage salad, nice acidic dressing. First asparagus this year, either before or with.

BurntToACinder · 19/05/2024 14:28

Cheeseburger and fries

WalkingonWheels · 19/05/2024 14:29

We had a roast chicken dinner. Not sure what we're having for tea yet.

AgentJohnson · 19/05/2024 14:30

Tomorrow will be our first BBQ of the year and the meat has already been sous vided, so it will mean giving the meat a bit of char tomorrow and Bob’s your uncle.

MyOtherCarisAVauxhallZafira · 19/05/2024 14:30

Prawn pad thai, I prefer something spicier but DH and ds like it and I make it from scratch so I'm not doing that for two different stir fries, I'll just add sambal to mine
