Hopefully a couple of countries won’t win just because of sympathy. If they can manage to enter I’m sure they can expect it to be fair.

You can never be sure with Eurovision though!

OK Finland is my favourite so far, could not stop laughing.

Simonjt · 11/05/2024 21:32

He did a fab job, he like the other acts has worked so hard. The audience was so loud we couldn’t actually hear israel, the sound has been a bit tinny for a few acts which is a bit annoying.

Cockapoopoopoo · 11/05/2024 21:32

I like Olly but I think he sounds weak, song wasn't catchy in the slightest and I'm finding the homoerotica of this year's show a bit tedious.

BearFacedCheek · 11/05/2024 21:32

Finland now my no 1!!!

MenopauseSucks · 11/05/2024 21:33

Spain was cool!! She looked amazing & a great voice but the male dancers were a bit bizarre.
Thought the UK was terrible...

MotivationalEater · 11/05/2024 21:35

Portugal are putting on a good show with a good song

sparepantsandtoothbrush · 11/05/2024 21:37

The song wasn't bad but he had no power to his voice at all. It needed a stronger singer

Finland now my no 1!!!

My kids loved it! Asking if he’s naked. No, oh wait a sec!

I really enjoyed the Lithuanian entry when I watched it in person earlier in the week, but it didn't quite translate to the TV broadcast I thought.

UK was alright, but despite having heard the song several times now it just doesn't stick in my mind. Olly's vocals aren't great either.

So far I'd say Ireland and Greece are my favourites. Ireland because it's so unique/weird. Greece is just a fun, well done pop song, with a nice mix of modern and traditional elements.

YouveGotAFastCar · 11/05/2024 21:40

Finland was amazing

BettyWont · 11/05/2024 21:41

I haven't seen them all but I must admit I loved Spain's song.

I think Ollie is a bit mediocre and too try hard unfortunately.

Sam Ryder was robbed!!

StampOnTheGround · 11/05/2024 21:41

I like him, and the staging etc. but he absolutely cannot sing at all

Elastoslax · 11/05/2024 21:41

I'm Irish. Hate our effort. I loved Finland.

Also Spain.

AhBiscuits · 11/05/2024 21:42

I like a metal song, where are they all?

Movinghouseatlast · 11/05/2024 21:43

I love Ollie and Years and Years but this was utter shite.

It's not the simulated sex contest. Though it seems lots of the entries seem to think it is.

MissyB1 · 11/05/2024 21:43

Anything was better than Ireland! Even my 15 year old couldn’t bear that, he left the room!

InactionIsAWeaponOfMassDestruction · 11/05/2024 21:44

Estonia still my fave

DinaofCloud9 · 11/05/2024 21:44

I thought he was rubbish.

Ireland was awful too. I liked Spain and Finland.

DrinksbytheSea · 11/05/2024 21:44

Finland was great!! I also enjoyed Armenia.

MrDavidLloyd · 11/05/2024 21:44

Is it me or has Eurosvision actually moved beyond camp?

Needmoresleep89 · 11/05/2024 21:44

It’s all fucking awful this year. Too much nudity and erotica. I want fun and cheese and camp, not this shit

ClareBlue · 11/05/2024 21:45

Ireland was amazing.

MotivationalEater · 11/05/2024 21:45

It's gone too far the other way. I wouldn't want to watch this year's with kids.

Toottooot · 11/05/2024 21:46

He was shite - tellys aff already - canna watch ony mair o that pish inight. Shame as used to love a bit o Eurovision.

GinAndJuice99 · 11/05/2024 21:47

it's like every song has to sound 'dramatic'

there hasn't been a single one which is just a good song, with a melody. Is that too much to ask for?
