GUEST WANTS SHOWER CURTAIN INSTALLED.

I have a friend coming to stay with me for over a week in the Summer. She has sent a message asking that a shower curtain be installed in the en-suite bathroom she will use for the duration of her stay. She will pay.

Due to the shape of the bath etc it would be tricky to install a curtain and spoil the look of the place, I'm reluctant to do this, especially as she's getting free board and lodging in Edinburgh during festival time. AIBU reasonable in refusing? PS: She is a very large lady - no one else has complained about this, so guess it's due to her size.

Tell her to buy a rain poncho and squirt the water up into it.

As other posters have pointed out, despite being asked over and over, OP has given no indication that there is a screen/wall/anything, only that she has now accepted that her guest will use the other shower.

Which I think confirms there isn’t a screen etc

Me too! Imagine charging for that on Airbnb. Shock

To be fair, the OP has posted three times (including the OP) and hasn't answered anyone's questions at all, so I'm not sure that's definitive proof of anything!

We are inferring … But if you think about it the whole post would make no sense if there was a screen in lieu of a curtain.

And to be honest, if she tried to say there is a screen and only said that now, I wouldn't believe her. If there is one, she would have said so earlier.
