It's raining again!

It's Bank Holiday Monday. It's tipping it down with rain, and will be all day. Its forecast to rain all day.

Husband is working and was looking forward to doing someone with the kids.

I know that the good folk of mumsnet will say just put waterproofs on. We can do that. We've done that for months.

I'm just fed up of the rain. Not being able to see when I walk because my glasses don't have windscreen wipers.

Not being able to sit down outside.

I want to.leave the house. Spend time with the children. Not spend a fortune. And feel.some sunshine.

@EternalSunshine19 unfortunately I can't just sit there because we have horses so we have to go out in it every day. The ground was only just starting to dry up and now they are sliding about their field again churning up any chance of grass coming in - having to continue buying hay, except now that's scarce as farmers still having to feed it to their livestock for the same reason as they can't get their animals out in fields where they should be right now. We have all the wet weather clothes you could ask for but it's still shit. I know this was a fairly lighthearted thread but this winter and spring really has been the worst I can remember so yes I do hope it gets better just because I (and all the farmers who's livelihood depends on being able to produce crops and rear animals) want it to

This is the weather forecast for the upcoming week where I am - better days do seem to be coming!!

It will change eventually, (already on its way) but until it does, we are entitled to a good moan. It has been unacceptably grim of late and moaning about it relieves my feelings.

It's been lovely all day (well, all weekend) here in the Midlands.
