Male celebrity in London today in a pink beret

DD went to Cream Dream ( I know !) Cafe in London today ( she had a fabulous cake ) and was sitting next to a celebrity - Male, 50 + ish,, in a houndstooth jacket, wide trousers and a pink beret. other people asked for a photo, and apparently he was really nice to them, so we know it was someone famous, but who ????

AIBU to ask you all to help work out who it might have been ? ( sorry shoe horned into AIBU as I was hoping for a quick answer !)

An exciting adventure! There are always so many interesting people in London, especially in places like Cream Dream. Apparently, this man in a pink beret attracted attention not only with his unusual image, but also, probably, with his presence and charm. Perhaps it is someone famous in the world of fashion, cinema or music? I wonder if there are any other details about his appearance or behavior that could help identify him?

I saw that there led zeppelin singer in Waitrose… no one believed me but it definitely was him.

Also Terrance Stamp in Planet Organic (while back) declaring that shop ‘the future’.

Also Dale Winton from supermarket sweep (also Waitrose - different branch).

He is. George was pointed out to me as a fashion icon. In the Bell pub King's Cross. Pre Culture Club iirc. There was another lad dancing away like a dervish. Everyone called him Jimmy the Skinhead. You'd actually stop dancing just to watch him go. Jimmy Somerville. Another tiny chap bless him. George wasn't dancing though. Not practical with his Geisha girl hair do etc.
