Asked DS to get me some treats while he was at Tesco and he bought me After Eights. Just that.

What were you expecting OP? Your DS clearly isn't a mind reader, so unless you stipulated what you meant by 'treats' then I think he did well!

They're OK, but not as good as they used to be. They're not minty enough. I like Bendicks Bittermints better (but they're about three times the price of After Eights!)

Treats in my house are more savoury than sweet, though.

Well I expected chocolate. But not After Eights.
I've never ever asked for After Eights in my life so can't figure out why he got them.
I hate them. 😂

YANBU! What a weird thing to get. A treat is a tube of smarties or biscuit from the bakery or something. After Eights taste like toothpaste 🤢

Crush and mix into ice cream.

Blend with milk and ice cream into a milkshake.

Freeze them and you can chew on them for hours 😋

It's a bit weird, I don't think I would expect After Eights if I asked for a treat from the shop but at the same time it is a treat from the shop lol! If my other half came back with After Eights I'd probably laugh and say "how weird" and then eat them lol!

I like After Eights because i cant eat a whole box, as im not a fan of dark chocolate 😆
Now i loved when they used to do the Blue version that was Milk Chocolate, those were heaven 😋
